However, when you use a sponge to pat it on, it goes on surprisingly light. If you were to apply it without looking in a mirror, you might wonder if it's even going on because it feels so lightweight. It spreads easily, making it a user-friendly cushion. It's worth noting that this isn't a dewy, glassy skin finish, but rather a matte cushion with subtle hints of glow. For me, this is a cushion I'd reach for more in summer than during seasonal transitions like now.
ConsThe downside is that those with dry skin may find it particularly affected by their skincare base or primer used before the cushion. If you use a matte formula like a brightening moisturizer or primer before this cushion, you might notice some patchiness in the drier areas of your face. While it blends better with your skin's natural oils over time, initially you might experience some unevenness.
TipFor those with dry skin, ensure you've thoroughly hydrated your skin during your skincare routine. If you're planning to use sunscreen as a base, opt for a moisturizing mineral sunscreen to avoid any patchiness when applying this cushion.

As a fan of Laneige Neo Cushion Matte, I was excited to try the Glow version. Thank you for this opportunity! Application and coverage: Glides on smoothly and blends well, even during touch-ups. Coverage is on the lighter side due to its glowy nature, but blemishes can be easily concealed. Thin layers look best for a natural skin-like finish. It covers small pores well - apply in short strokes first, then pat to refine. For large pores, primer is a must. Longevity: As expected for a glowy product, it breaks down quickly on my combination skin. Works best with a hybrid sunscreen rather than purely chemical or physical ones. Pleasantly, it doesn't cause deep dryness over time. Wear-off: The best part is how cleanly it fades when applied thinly. As someone with large pores prone to clogging and oily patches, I appreciate that it wears off completely like high-end foundations, rather than leaving residue. Perfect for those who prefer a bare face to messy makeup. Always apply thin layers for touch-ups! Scent: Oh Laneige! The headache-inducing fragrance is gone - what a pleasant surprise! Design: Love the new Neo Dot for gripping the puff. I've always adored the simple, AirPods-inspired design and have collected several. Would love to see more color options like pastel macarons or matte black. Overall: While makeup preferences vary, this cushion shines for those seeking a healthy glow over full coverage. It's ideal for creating radiant, healthy-looking skin even if it doesn't completely mask blemishes.
ConsThose with good skin might mistake this for a dewy finish, but it's more of an oily sheen that doesn't look clean. It gives a beautiful glow under warm lighting but emphasizes texture under fluorescent lights - a double-edged sword. The puff, while softer than before, is still quite firm. It improves after a few days of use, but I prefer using a Daiso moist cushion air puff. A softer puff would be better. As someone with a light 21 skin tone who's slightly tanned, 21N1 is a bit dark - closer to a 21.5-22 shade. It's quite muted and darkens further, so apply thinly and build up during touch-ups. Attempting to set it with powder for a matte finish with inner hydration backfires terribly. If you must use powder, opt for a finely milled one like Neo Powder, using a minimal amount only where necessary. Best to skip powder altogether.
TipWhile I love Laneige, I'll be returning to the Neo Cushion Matte. Thank you for letting me satisfy my curiosity. The product quality is good, so I'll definitely recommend it to my dry-skinned friends and those who love glowy cushions.

My skin is very dry and usually flakes with matte products, but this feels comfortable and hydrating when applied. It has decent coverage that conceals pores well. The makeup doesn't look thick - it's just the right consistency. The product itself is quite pretty, and the built-in cushion is nice too. Overall, I'm very satisfied with this product.
ConsI couldn't find any downsides for me. There's nothing I'm disappointed about.
TipFor me, the natural brightening effect was a plus. However, if you're looking for a more radiant complexion, you might want to consider purchasing a lighter shade.

I was worried about dead skin cells being more noticeable during seasonal changes, but this cushion didn't accentuate any texture even after hours of wear. Just a light touch-up was enough! While it's from the glow line, so the coverage isn't extremely high, I've been using it without any major blemishes so far. It works hard for my skin!
ConsHmm... There's nothing particularly negative to mention! If I had to pick something, maybe the coverage? But honestly, it's really quite good!

I loved how it subtly brightens the complexion without looking artificial, enhancing the skin's appearance. Being a moisturizing cushion, it feels like it's applying a thin layer rather than a thick one. This makes it comfortable to layer multiple times without feeling heavy, making it perfect for a daily, lightweight makeup routine.
ConsI did feel that the coverage and lasting power were somewhat lacking, but I found this acceptable given the trade-off for a dewy skin finish.

It allows for a natural-looking skin finish! The light pink case is absolutely lovely.
ConsThe coverage is a bit disappointing, unfortunately. It seems the signature darkening effect of Neo Cushions is unavoidable... Even with the matte version, darkening was the only drawback, and now I see the glow version has it too. The shade seems to have quite a yellow undertone.
TipI'd recommend this to those who don't have blemishes and prefer a light makeup look. For those with oily skin, setting powder is a must!

The staying power isn't bad, and it gets even better when I set it with powder, so I make sure not to skip that step. I usually use shade 21, and this one doesn't seem particularly light. Being a glow cushion, the coverage is slightly less than matte products, so I pair it with a concealer. The case is adorably round and compact compared to other cushions I've tried, making it perfect for on-the-go. I'm really loving it!
ConsThe coverage is a bit lacking, but it's not a deal-breaker since I can always use a concealer with it.
TipThis cushion gives a beautiful Inner Glow without feeling sticky. It's great for evening out your complexion and works well for combination dehydrated skin. The formula absorbs well and doesn't cause pilling, making it ideal for layering with other skincare products.

It's been ages since I've used a Korean foundation, but I knew Neo Cushion was famous. I tried the Glow version this time, and it was truly amazing. 1. It's hydrating - As someone with dry, combination dehydrated skin, I prefer moisturizing over matte. It applies smoothly without patchiness, making it perfect for touch-ups. 2. The scent - There's a floral fragrance that I personally love! 3. Shade 21N1 - Works well even for those who usually use shade 22. 4. Great for super sensitive skin ♥️ 5. The case is adorably cute I initially tried it because a YouTuber who loves Espoir Be Glow Cushion recommended it. While that one was just okay for me, the Neo Glow provides decent coverage, feels hydrating, and has a beautiful color. I'm 99999% sure I'll repurchase!
Cons1. Due to its hydrating nature, it might not fully conceal blemishes. 2. The fragrance could be hit or miss for some people.
Tip1. Give it a try and purchase it for yourself. 2. You won't regret it!

As the name 'Glow Cushion' suggests, my first impression when applying it to my skin was that it was definitely moisturizing and smooth. If you've used glow-type cushions before, you'll know exactly what I mean! It's a familiar feeling - a moisturizing sensation that's slightly rich, with moderate coverage and a luminous finish. However, since I used a sunscreen with oil content, the combination wasn't ideal. This cushion would likely pair well with a matte sunscreen. When I applied it over my sunscreen, both felt too moist, which affected the adherence. (I wouldn't recommend using it with very hydrating skincare or rich sunscreens.) As others have mentioned in their reviews, the coverage isn't very high, so it's perfect for those with good skin to apply lightly before going out. (I'm envious!) Since I have a lot of areas to cover, I had to use concealer, but using it with a matte concealer seemed to hide the glow cushion's benefits. (Is it difficult to achieve both a glowy texture and high coverage?) On the plus side, the moisturizing formula didn't accentuate dead skin cells, which was satisfying, although it was a bit weak in covering pores. Also (this might be due to the current hot weather), the makeup started to wear off after a few hours. This could make it seem like darkening has occurred. I'd recommend setting it with powder. While this review may seem to have many downsides from an oily skin perspective, the cute round pink case is really pretty, and I think people with normal skin, unlike my acne-prone oily skin, would find more to be satisfied with. I especially recommend it for those with dry skin and few blemishes... In cold and dry seasons, even those with oily skin might be able to use it comfortably for hydration.
ConsI usually use shade 21 and have a light complexion, but this felt slightly dark for me, which was a bit disappointing. If you typically use shade 21, I definitely recommend buying a lighter shade! Also, while writing this review, I noticed the ingredients list is somewhat disappointing. These days, most products tend to have good ingredients, so it's quite unfortunate to see such an ingredients list from a well-known brand like Laneige.
TipKeep your skincare routine simple! I don't recommend using this over very moisturizing types of sunscreen.

Think again! This cushion blew me away. As someone with major concerns about pores in my T-zone, I'm thrilled with how well it covers. I'll definitely be using this all winter! The pore coverage is seriously impressive. ❣️Longevity While it's not quite as long-lasting as matte cushions due to its hydrating formula, I'm super satisfied that it doesn't settle into pores or create that bumpy, patchy look at all. ❣️Glow It's not an over-the-top 'Look at me, I'm dewy!' effect, but rather a natural, radiant glow. After application, I just dust a bit of powder on my smile lines and nose, and the result is a beautifully subtle luminosity that I absolutely love! The coverage is so good that you only need a small amount - a few dabs cover everything. I used to constantly have to buy new cushions because the puff would fall out when I opened it for touch-ups, but this one's designed to stay put. The puff itself feels more dense compared to matte cushions, which seems to help it adhere better to the skin.
ConsI was initially pleased with how little product I needed for good coverage, but in natural light, it can look a bit heavy. I'll need to experiment with using even less product to fine-tune the application.
TipFor an extra beautiful look, try pairing it with a slightly shimmery blush.
