I first discovered the Musgenae Phyto Soothing Ampoule when a friend gifted it to me. My daughter and I started using it together, and we were impressed by how it left our skin feeling hydrated and glowing. The texture is transparent with a slight viscosity, and it applies smoothly and absorbs quickly without leaving any residue. This ampoule proved especially beneficial for my teenage daughter with super sensitive skin. After finishing this product and trying serums from other brands, she struggled with blemishes and rashes for weeks. When we ordered the Musgenae Phyto Soothing Ampoule again, her skin finally calmed down. What a relief! The photos show the products I recently purchased during a buy-one-get-one-free promotion. This soothing ampoule has truly become a cherished and invaluable part of our skincare routine. While I have no complaints about the product itself, the dropper packaging is slightly inconvenient. Personally, I find pump bottles much easier to use. Even if a product has good ingredients, those with sensitive, delicate, or blemish-prone skin should scrutinize the ingredient list more carefully. Truly gentle products like the Musgenae Phyto Soothing Ampoule are not that common. If you have sensitive skin, when checking ingredients on Hwahae, make sure to look at the "Sensitive Skin Related Ingredients" under "Skin Type." If there are even one or two potentially sensitizing ingredients, always do a patch test before using the full product. In moments like these, I'm especially grateful for the existence of the Hwahae app. - Hwahae UserDry SkinDec 31, 2024
I have extremely dry skin! I received this product as a gift, and I'm impressed with its texture - not too watery, not too heavy. It seems perfect for light application during summer. The moment you apply it, you can really feel the hydration kick in! While it may not completely tackle deep dryness, I'd recommend this for those with mild to moderate dry skin. When you first apply it, there's an instant rush of hydration, but unfortunately, that moisturized feeling doesn't last very long. As for the scent, there's a slight hint of alcohol. It's not exactly pleasant, but not unpleasant either - just a neutral kind of fragrance? If you're looking to use this as a final step in your routine, it won't be enough to combat deep dryness. You'll need to layer on additional products to really address that dehydrated feeling! - Hwahae UserDehydrated SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinDec 22, 2024
I was really satisfied with the CNP Mugener Ampoule! The best part was its skin-soothing effect. After using it, I could feel my irritated skin calming down quickly, and especially noticed a significant reduction in redness. The texture was light, absorbing well without any stickiness, which made it comfortable to use both morning and night. As someone with super sensitive skin, I was worried, but I was pleased to find I could use it comfortably without any irritation. My skin felt more hydrated and softer overall, so I think I'll continue using it regularly. If I had to point out a downside, it would be the amount of product. Using it twice daily, morning and night, I felt like it ran out quite quickly. Given how effective it is, I wish it came in a more generous size. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinNov 20, 2024
As someone with super sensitive skin that turns red, flakes, and stings with every product during seasonal changes, I was desperate for relief. I heard panthenol is great for repairing the skin barrier, so I tried this Musgenae ampoule on recommendation. It feels so soothing and hydrating when applied - what a relief! After using it consistently for about two weeks, I can see my damaged skin barrier slowly recovering. I'll definitely keep using this all winter! While it absorbs well, I personally prefer products that leave a fresh finish. This one feels a bit sticky to me, probably due to the aloe vera leaf extract. It's unavoidable, I suppose. For an amazing hydration and calming effect, try applying a generous layer before using a modeling mask. The results are incredible! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinOct 25, 2024
This is a product I've been using consistently. It's wonderfully hydrating and has great soothing effects! It absorbs well without feeling sticky, and the absorption is quick. The amount of serum and the price point are a bit disappointing. Also, because of the dropper, it's difficult to use up the product completely. - Hwahae UserDehydrated SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinOct 20, 2024
Skin type: Super sensitive combination dehydrated skin / T-zone texture / Pores / Blackheads I've been using this ampoule for nearly a decade. 1. Absorption ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ The texture is runny, like water. It absorbs into the skin, leaving it feeling hydrated. It absorbs quickly too. Once fully absorbed, it leaves that slightly tacky feeling that's now called 'chok chok' skin in K-beauty circles. 2. Soothing ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ It's incredibly gentle and has excellent soothing properties. Nothing beats this when your skin is acting up. Even when I couldn't use anything else, I could always rely on this and Physiogel. 3. Hydration ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I found the hydration so good that I used it in place of toner. However, since it's a purely hydrating ampoule without any oils, you'll need to layer other ampoules or creams on top. Because it's such a gentle product, those with already healthy skin might not notice much effect beyond hydration. However, it's absolutely perfect for sensitive skin. It works great as a replacement for toner too! - Hwahae UserDry SkinSep 27, 2024
I bought this as an all-in-one serum to apply just once during summer days. However, it's also great for hydration in other seasons. As it claims to be 'soothing and hydrating', it truly makes your skin feel comfortable when applied. It contains ingredients known for their calming properties like aloe vera leaf juice, madecassoside, licorice, allantoin, and centella asiatica leaf. With panthenol also high up in the ingredient list, it has a nice consistency and feels moisturizing. After using the Muzener mist, if you keep this in the fridge and apply it, it's perfect for soothing overheated skin. To be honest, apart from being gentle on the skin, there's nothing particularly special about it. These days, with all the high-performance essences like Vitamin C, retinol, and EGF, this one often gets pushed down the list. But whenever I need some soothing, it's like a comforting home I always return to... - Hwahae UserDry SkinAcne SkinSep 14, 2024
I tried the 15ml sample and loved it so much I bought the full size right away. I have thin skin prone to redness. This serum is hydrating and contains aloe for soothing. It feels like it's strengthening my skin barrier. I got this product at a good price, so I don't have any particular complaints. It's definitely a staple in my routine. - Hwahae UserDry SkinAug 8, 2024
It feels incredibly moisturizing when applied. Great for hydration boost! While it gives an instant burst of moisture, it doesn't seem to help with deep dryness. - Hwahae UserDehydrated SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinJun 25, 2024
The texture doesn't flow like water but has a mucus-like consistency that's soft and instantly adheres to the skin snugly. I felt that even one layer was sufficient for hydration. It leaves a moist feeling without being light or refreshing, but it's not sticky to the point of discomfort. I recommend using it at night before bed rather than during the day. While the ingredients are good and it didn't cause any blemishes, I didn't notice any significant soothing effects. For me, it felt like an ampoule without any standout features. Therefore, I don't plan to repurchase it.
