As someone with super sensitive combination dehydrated skin, finding a cleansing foam that effectively removes excess oil without irritation is crucial. This product is truly amazing because it doesn't cause deep dryness and isn't harsh on my skin. There's absolutely nothing to complain about with this product. It's perfect as is. I wish the system would allow shorter reviews for products that don't have any downsides, instead of requiring a minimum of 20 characters. - el********Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesInner DrynessEnlarged PoresDead Skin CellsRecommendedJun 8, 2025
The texture is impressive! It's super soft and bouncy like foam, with a pleasant milky scent. It lathers up nicely too. Above all, I bought it because of its excellent ingredients and gentle formula. This is my first time trying an alkaline foam cleanser, and I'm not a fan of the squeaky-clean finish. Despite claims of hydration, my face feels a bit rough and dry afterwards. Oddly enough, when I use it while having blemishes, it feels somewhat irritating. Strangely, there are no harmful ingredients, but as someone with combination skin, I find it leaves my skin feeling dry. Immediately after cleansing, I use toner pads to boost hydration. - eh*********Combination SkinSebum/BlackheadsEnlarged PoresRecommendedJun 7, 2025
As someone with combination dehydrated skin, I love how this doesn't leave my face feeling tight after use. Since it's slightly acidic, I find it's better to follow up with a mildly alkaline cleanser in the evening for balance. This feedback highlights the product's suitability for combination dehydrated skin types, while also suggesting a complementary cleansing routine to maintain skin's pH balance. - aw*****Oily SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsEnlarged PoresRecommendedJun 2, 2025
I've been using this cleansing foam for a month now, and it's fantastic! It thoroughly cleanses without leaving my skin feeling dry. It doesn't seem to lather up very well, which makes the cleansing process take longer than I'd like. This cleanser strikes a great balance between cleansing effectiveness and maintaining skin hydration. While it excels at removing impurities, some users might find the lack of rich foam a bit disappointing, potentially extending their cleansing routine. - wj**********Combination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedJun 1, 2025
(My own purchase) I'm currently taking isotretinoin and my skin is transitioning from combination-dehydrated to dry. My skin tends to develop small bumps and occasional inflammatory blemishes when using ingredients that cause allergic reactions or clog pores. Even after just one day of use, my skin feels soft and smooth without any new breakouts. Since it's a hydrating cleanser, it doesn't leave my skin feeling tight like Senka does! For acne-prone skin, it seems using a slightly alkaline cleanser rather than an acidic one helps minimize sebum production. Even if it feels a bit drying (I've tried several over-the-counter cleansing foams because I heard that non-acidic cleansers can actually make my skin drier and increase oil production), it's worth it. I used to use the blue Senka cleanser, but I kept getting small bumps. When I realized it was due to pore-clogging ingredients, I decided to try this cleanser since it's also slightly alkaline like Senka but without any ingredients that might cause an allergic reaction. After just one day of use, I can already feel the difference. I hope this product never disappears from the market! I don't have any complaints yet. It doesn't cause any blemishes and seems to work well. Please don't discontinue this product - I've already stocked up on two! Morning routine: The Ordinary water-like product (can't remember the name) > Sidmool Adenosine > Bakuchiol Regenerative Cream or SNature Moisturizing Cream (I used to use this, but lately I've been using Isntree Ceramide K Cream for barrier repair) > Sunscreen is a must (currently using Dr.G Green Mild Up Sun Plus, but planning to try Round Lab next) Night routine: VT Cica Shot 100 > The Ordinary water-like product (name escapes me) > The Ordinary Niacinamide 10% + Zinc > Adenosine (I apply this sometimes, depending on how I feel) > Cevitabi (from the pharmacy) > Sometimes I apply a moisturizer before bed > If I have inflammatory acne or small bumps, I spot treat with Acnon before sleeping - ks*******Dry SkinSensitive SkinAtopic SkinInner DrynessDead Skin CellsMay 28, 2025
After cleansing, there's no residue left behind and my skin feels squeaky clean. It seems my skin didn't agree with this product. I developed blemishes on my forehead between my eyebrows and on my cheeks. - ba****Combination SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsDark CirclesInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresDead Skin CellsRecommendedMay 26, 2025
As someone with dry, sensitive skin, I found this product caused minimal tightness. Often, moisturizing products can leave an unpleasant residue, making you feel like you haven't rinsed properly. However, this one struck a great balance - it was hydrating while still cleansing effectively. There weren't really any significant drawbacks. It even worked well as a first-step cleanser, removing makeup and impurities efficiently. This cleanser seems to work hard for combination dehydrated skin types, providing good hydration without irritation. It absorbs well, leaving the skin feeling clean but not stripped. The cleansing effectiveness is impressive, making it suitable for daily use in your skincare routine. - he*****Dry SkinDark CirclesInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityDead Skin CellsRecommendedMay 25, 2025
It's gentle and mild. I'm satisfied with the ingredients and the amount you get. It's kind to the skin, making it great for everyday use. The moisturizing effect doesn't last long after cleansing. That's why I apply a hydrating cream after washing my face. It's gentle, has good ingredients, and I'm happy with the amount. It doesn't remove makeup well, so I use a separate remover for eye liner before cleansing. It's kind to the skin, making it perfect for light, daily use. - rr*************Oily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsRecommendedMay 25, 2025
It's gentle and has just the right cleansing effectiveness. My skin has been super sensitive lately, but this doesn't irritate it at all. It's great! If I had to nitpick, those with oily skin might find the cleansing power slightly inadequate for summer use. - jk****Oily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsRecommendedMay 23, 2025
As someone with oily skin, I love the squeaky-clean feeling it gives. Plus, it didn't cause any blemishes to pop up! Since it's not low pH, using it twice daily might cause some irritation. I'd recommend using this for deep cleansing at night and switching to a low pH cleanser in the morning for better results.
