It's quite matte, so applying it without lip balm can really emphasize dead skin cells. Those prone to dry lips might find it a bit troublesome to use.

I bought this famous deep undertone lipstick during an Olive Young sale. When applied with a light touch over a bit of lip balm, it goes on sheer, making it easy to control the intensity. Even a small amount on bare lips adds a lively look, which I love. It has a slight brown-pink tint, so it's great with makeup, though it might be a bit much for those with yellow undertones and a natural flush when worn on bare skin.
