Ingredients With only 9 ingredients, even those with super sensitive skin can use this product with peace of mind. I've always wanted to try azulene, but it's usually expensive and not commonly found in skincare (or when it is, the products are pricey). So I was intrigued to find it in this Amore Pacific toner and decided to give it a try! 2. Texture and Feel This was my first time using a bubble toner, and the experience was quite unique! The bubbles seem to make it less irritating, and as it absorbs, it transforms into a liquid with minimal dripping - which I really appreciate. Overall, it's gentle, but when I accidentally misused a spot treatment the night before and my skin was slightly red, I did feel a slight tingling sensation. Apart from that day, it's been fine with no irritation. I bought this product because it's supposed to be good for deep dryness, and it definitely has a more satisfying, bouncy finish compared to other toners! I love how it leaves my skin feeling smooth but deeply hydrated from within, rather than just sitting on top. I tried using it as a toner mask by applying a thick layer of foam, but it didn't adhere well to my face. I'm planning to try a toner mask again with the refill! 3. Benefits The main advantages of this product are its minimal ingredient list and gentle formula. Many toners these days contain AHA/BHA/PHA or enzymes for exfoliation, which can be too harsh for sensitive skin as a first step. Especially for those like me with a damaged skin barrier, it's crucial to use a mild, slightly acidic toner. The presence of azulene, which helps with inflammation, is also appealing since I occasionally struggle with blemishes. I'd recommend this to anyone with a damaged barrier, sensitive skin, combination dehydrated skin, or acne concerns.
ConsThe price is a bit steep for the amount you get. However, azulene is generally expensive, and since it's a foam formula, you use just the right amount without waste, so it lasts quite a while. It's a decent value if you buy it during a sale. Also, it's worth noting that this product doesn't have any cooling effect at all, which might be important for some users to know.

To sum up this product's advantages: it's a foam toner + soothing + no tingling. 1. Unlike exfoliating toners (applied with cotton pads) that offer little beyond convenience, this product excels at quick application. It simplifies skincare routines tremendously. Perfect for rushed mornings. Switching to this foam toner eliminates spills and allows even application without cotton pads. I'll keep using foam dispensers for toners, regardless of whether I continue with this specific product. 2. Zero irritation thanks to the foam. You can apply it with minimal skin contact. Ideal for severe acne or super sensitive skin that reddens easily. 3. No stinging, even on freshly extracted forehead blemishes or in eyes. Once you've experienced a stinging toner, you realize how important a non-irritating one is. 4. For combination skin (oily T-zone, dry elsewhere), it feels like 99% hydration, 1% oil. As someone whose forehead gets oily quickly and who hates even slightly visible pores, I'm satisfied. However, you'll need additional products for deep hydration on drier areas. 5. Great for soothing. Its key ingredient, azulene, is said to be more potent than madecassoside. It seems to calm redness faster than my previous cica or houttuynia cordata products. The difference might not be dramatic for less sensitive skin, but it's noticeably effective.
Cons1. No significant cooling effect when used at room temperature. 2. Doesn't address deep dryness. (Deducted one star for this) 3. Can be considered 0% oil content. (This could be a pro for some) 4. The price is a tad high. (Another star deducted here) 5. Container marked as difficult to recycle. 6. Hard to gauge how much product is left unless you open the cap.
TipFor those with dry skin, especially deep dryness, it's not a bad idea to add an oil-based serum between this toner and your moisturizer. While using a richer cream is an option, it's not recommended before makeup application.

It's not a flimsy cloud that disappears, but rather a dense one that allows you to cover your entire face with just one pump. It's not just like water; it has a slightly silky feel and creates a protective barrier-like sensation when applied. Unlike other toners that feel like you're just applying water, this product gives a satisfying, plumping sensation! Moreover, the formula is gentle - you can feel its mildness as soon as you apply it. The product is fragrance-free.
ConsTo be honest, I can't really feel any soothing or cooling effects. Like most toners or skin products, it's primarily water, so expecting additional benefits from this type of product might be asking too much.
TipEven though it has a cloud-like texture, it might drip off your face like other toners if you're not careful. Make sure to pump it out and spread it quickly and evenly over your face.

It's the first product I've seen where the azulene and cloud keywords, along with the packaging color and texture, match so perfectly. The color itself is appealing, and with Azul belonging to the sky-blue family and the texture reminiscent of clouds, it truly embodies the essence of clouds in the sky!
ConsThe absorption isn't exceptional, and there's no cooling effect, which might disappoint those who prefer a lighter feel. It also seems to run out faster than expected. It's somewhat inconvenient that you can't visually check how much product is left - you need to shake it or open the pump to check the contents. Additionally, the 'difficult to recycle' label makes me wonder about repurposing the container after use. The name 'Cloud' feels slightly off - perhaps 'Fluffy' would have been a softer, more fitting choice?
TipA single pump provides enough product for the entire face, with some left over. As it transforms into a liquid on the skin and retains considerable moisture, you could even use it casually pumped onto a pad as a substitute for a hydrating mask.

It contains azulene, which is known to be great for soothing the skin. The scent is almost fragrance-free, which I find satisfying as it's not bothersome. While it doesn't completely calm the skin or suppress blemishes, I appreciate that it doesn't make existing blemishes worse. True to its 'cloud toner' nickname, it has a nice, soft absorption. It's genuinely mild with no irritation and provides hydration, which I liked more than I expected. Being slightly lightweight, it seems more suitable for summer among the four seasons.
ConsWhile I like the product itself, I don't think it's particularly affordable considering its price. Being in foam form, it feels like you use more product per application! Although it's moisturizing, the immediate cooling effect is minimal and it doesn't absorb quickly.

I'll be thorough and honest: Incredibly gentle! This is truly one of the gentlest products I've used recently. Throughout my use, I never experienced any irritation or blemishes, not even once! Skin-soothing + cooling effect When applied to the skin, it noticeably reduces heat and calms the skin! It's a great product to use as the weather gets warmer. Fluffy texture When you pump the product, it dispenses as a fluffy foam toner that's adequately rich and doesn't deflate easily. I love that it doesn't drip when applying to the face after cleansing! After absorption, it leaves a non-greasy, fresh finish that doesn't feel heavy.
ConsIt's not extremely soothing or cooling! I feel this is more of a product suitable for daily use. It slightly lowers overall skin temperature, but doesn't significantly calm major skin blemishes.
TipIt provides moderate hydration, but if you want more moisture, I recommend layering it once or twice. The finish is moderately fresh, so it should be suitable for those with oily skin to use lightly!

I was looking for something soothing, and with my thin, sensitive skin, this fit the bill perfectly. While I haven't had a chance to test it on sunburned skin (thankfully we've had a break from scorching days), I found it wonderfully gentle when used as an exfoliating toner. Switching to a roll-on applicator eliminated any irritation, making it incredibly comfortable to use. What's more, my skin usually reacts with tiny blemishes if a product doesn't agree with it, but I had absolutely zero issues with this one. The gentle formulation really seems to make a difference. And for those sensitive to fragrances, you'll be pleased to know it's unscented! I'd highly recommend this as a soothing treatment, even for those with super sensitive skin. It's a safe bet for anyone looking for a gentle, calming product!
ConsThe price point is a bit steep, which is slightly disappointing. I was also hoping for more of a cooling effect, but it was barely noticeable. Perhaps they focused more on the soothing aspect? Given the weather, I was really craving that cooling sensation, so that was a letdown for me. Also, the absorption wasn't lightning-fast on my skin (I have combination skin prone to small bumps). I found myself patting it in a bit more than usual. It wasn't terribly inconvenient, but worth noting.
TipFor those with a bit more time on their hands, try layering the roll-on about three times for even better hydration without any deep dryness. I usually do one layer followed by a moisturizer, but when I tried three layers before my moisturizer, I found my skin held up beautifully even in front of the air conditioner! It worked wonders for me!

You can feel a cooling effect, and it's easier to apply evenly compared to water! After standing in front of the stove while cooking, I applied it to my red, hot skin after washing. The effects weren't immediate, but after about 20 minutes, my face felt cool and the redness had subsided. ★Note that it might sting a bit for some people, as it did for me★ However, it didn't cause any blemishes. -When applied to the body- It feels refreshing and nice when applied, especially when you're getting hot and uncomfortable at home or outside. Perhaps due to its soothing ingredients, my back acne that was once bumpy has now smoothed out! I'm using it with high hopes!
ConsThe cooling effect isn't as strong as expected, so those who use sprays with cica ingredients might not feel much of a cooling sensation. I apply it in the order of toner, serum, and moisturizer, but maybe because my skin is sensitive, it feels a bit irritated for about 10 minutes. However, it's great for lightly applying on the body and feels moisturizing, making it good for body use!
TipYou can feel a stronger cooling effect by patting it in rather than just applying and letting it absorb. It's great for lightly recharging moisture while cooling down during summer, and it's nice to apply on arms and legs too!

I was initially skeptical about what difference a foam toner could make and didn't have high expectations for its effectiveness, but this is truly worth buying. The foam texture makes it incredibly gentle on the skin. Thanks to the soft foam, it's much easier to apply delicately on sensitive skin compared to regular water-based toners. As someone with super sensitive skin prone to inflammation, I often skip toners because they can be too stinging and itchy. Surprisingly, this one didn't sting at all, even on inflamed areas. It felt genuinely mild. I was concerned about the ingredients, thinking it might be more focused on the foam performance, but I was amazed by how non-irritating it was on my skin. It absorbs incredibly lightly while penetrating deeply. I used to use Uriage Isomose toner for a long time before trying this, but I find this toner less irritating and more hydrating. It seems especially perfect for summer. The design is absolutely beautiful. The grip of the package when pumping somehow makes me feel good. I think they've done a great job matching the color and container to the rich foam and the impressive hydration and moisturizing power that's not just lightweight.
ConsI'm not sure about the instant cooling effect they claim. The packaging isn't recyclable (which is surprisingly important). The price is too high - spending $50 on a toner seems impossible. However, I like its performance so much that I might buy it with my own money if it goes on sale.
TipThose with extremely sensitive skin should give this a try. While it's often advised not to use toners if you have very sensitive skin, I tend to use them anyway. I've tried everything from Uriage, Bioderma, Dokdo Toner, The Simple Toner, to Hada Labo Gokujyun, but this one was the least burdensome. Perhaps due to the foam, it can be applied lightly, making it less irritating.
