  As a fan of velvety matte lips, I've been trying various brands, and the Rouge Dior Velvet lipstick has truly impressed me. Its powdery finish combined with a non-drying, moisturizing feel is simply delightful. Rather than feeling heavy on the lips, it applies smoothly like a tint, creating a beautiful watercolor-like gradient. The pigmentation is excellent - one swipe is usually enough to achieve the desired color. It doesn't settle into lip lines at all, making it a perfect lightweight, fuss-free lipstick. The 999 shade is a vibrant, clear red that brightens up cool-toned complexions beautifully. The sophisticated color is truly captivating. While it looks stunning as a full lip color, I highly recommend trying it as a gradient - you won't be disappointed!

  I've used this 999 times now! It's not a deep classic red, but more of a clear apple red shade. The clarity makes me think of a spring lip product. It has a deep undertone that really suits me well. I was worried it might be drying since it's a velvet type, but it's not drying at all. The lightweight formula feels incredibly light when applied. The color payoff is strong, so just a few dabs give a definite color boost. The packaging is sturdy with a navy enamel finish and the Christian Dior logo embossed, giving it a luxurious feel. I'm satisfied with the formula, color, and staying power - I've found my holy grail lip product!
