I've been using this for 10 years now. I have oily, sensitive skin. I mix it with other BB creams, and it adheres well to my skin with excellent coverage. I use it all year round, through all four seasons. There's nothing I dislike about it. Even though I'm prone to blemishes, this doesn't cause any. - ds****Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedFeb 6, 2025
I've been using this product since I first started wearing makeup. Back then, my skin was even oilier than it is now, and I couldn't find any foundation to replace this one... And honestly, I still can't! It's especially fantastic in summer. The staying power is top-notch, and the coverage is unbeatable. This product is definitely worth its price tag. The only downside is the high price. I recommend purchasing it duty-free if you can. - dr*****Combination SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRecommendedJan 18, 2025
Staying power: It's absolutely top-notch in summer... Absorbs: Personally, I love how it applies like paint, adhering perfectly to the skin. That's why I'm a fan of this foundation. Color payoff: The shade seems more yellow than I expected. I've used it before. Matte finish: It's extremely matte. Difficult to use in winter... I think I used it well without pilling about 3 years ago, but now it seems my skin lacks oil, so it pills too much. If you apply it after thorough skincare, it's the best foundation out there. - xq********Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinAtopic SkinRecommendedDec 15, 2024
First off, I've gone from oily to combination skin, and I'm already on my third bottle of this foundation. The reason I keep repurchasing? The unbelievable staying power... While I didn't notice it much when I had oily skin, I think this product really shines for combination skin types. I used to use the Cool Vanilla shade, but wanting to save some money, I looked for an unopened new product on a secondhand market. They didn't have Cool Vanilla, so I went with Fawn as a quick fix. Surprisingly, it wasn't too dark and matched perfectly. I think it would work well for anyone who uses shade 21. Staying power: This product is an absolute champion in longevity. It simply doesn't break down. Even after 24 hours, it's no joke - it seems to blend with your natural oils, creating a beautiful glow. To be honest, I started my foundation journey with Estée Lauder Double Wear, so I haven't tried many other liquid foundations besides cushions. Coverage: I actually apply it very thinly with a spatula, so I don't build up heavy coverage. But thinking back to when I didn't have a spatula, the coverage is truly superior. It covers most blemishes well, though it can be challenging to conceal acne scars and textured areas. It's quite matte. You need to prep your skin carefully, but piling on too much skincare can lead to pilling. It might be too much for dry skin types, and even in this cold weather, you need a solid skincare base. Apply thinly with a spatula, and it can work for combination-dehydrated skin. The downside is that it can be tiring and time-consuming to apply multiple thin layers with a spatula, so unless I have something important, I tend not to use this product much in winter. Rather than applying it haphazardly, it's best to use a spatula and apply multiple thin layers. People use various methods - some prefer puffs, others brushes. The brush type that was really popular before, like The Cool Lab brush, works amazingly well with this foundation. It fills in all the pores and makes application super easy. Unfortunately, I've lost that brush and can't use it at the moment. - fn******Oily SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsEnlarged PoresRecommendedSep 26, 2024
This is absolutely fantastic for oily skin types! While it might be a bit drying if used alone and could make makeup look patchy, when paired with an organic UV protection sunscreen (since this has a low SPF), it makes your skin look amazing! After about 7-8 hours, you might notice some oil coming through, but there's no breakdown or clumping of the product. The oil just gives a subtle glow-like effect. I'm not sure about the coverage though! It has a matte finish, so you need to blend it quickly on your face. The color is a bit yellowish. - b7****Dehydrated SkinAcne SkinInner DrynessRecommendedSep 6, 2024
There's no foundation quite like this one... It's gorgeous even as it fades throughout the day While it can be a bit drying, the coverage and how it absorbs are both excellent It works well when mixed with other fluid formulas - sa******Combination SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresDead Skin CellsRecommendedAug 19, 2024
The coverage is great and it adheres well to the face. It's perfect for summer use. However, in other seasons, it tends to sit on top of the skin, making it unsuitable. The product often sticks to the lid, requiring frequent cleaning. I have shade 19 skin, and it's too dark for me, so I have to mix it with an extremely light foundation to make it work. - gu********Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedJun 18, 2024
The color matches my skin tone well, and the way it settles is beautiful - perfect for summer. It sets quickly on the skin, so it's important to blend it immediately after application. It's ideal for my dry skin in the summer months. While the color isn't particularly vibrant, I appreciate its natural look. It's quite drying, so it's best suited for summer use. Works well on the T-zone where there's more oil production. - jh*******Dehydrated SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessEnlarged PoresDead Skin CellsRecommendedApr 25, 2024
The coverage is excellent, and it adheres well to the skin. It also applies smoothly in a thin layer. As time passes, it tends to break down, which isn't attractive. There's also some slight settling into fine lines and accentuation of dead skin cells. Make sure to thoroughly apply and absorb your skincare base, then apply this product in a thin layer. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessEnlarged PoresRecommendedApr 16, 2024
After trying many options, I've come back to Double Wear. It's great for oily skin types. Once it sets, it doesn't budge and lasts for ages. The shade has a slightly yellowish undertone. There's a noticeable darkening effect. You need to blend it quickly before it sets.
