You should not expect pure curl fixing power from this product alone. The feel of the essence is more pronounced. While applying it when completely dry does increase the fixing power somewhat, it also leaves a rather stiff, unnatural feel, which I did not particularly like. It seems to work better when used in combination with other products.

This item revives frizzy permed hair!! Especially when applied all over the wet hair, it doesn't make the hair sticky at all and perfectly defines the curl shape. Finally, finishing with a wet oil gives the curls a boost while creating a moisturized hairstyle!
