  Pros

  The essence-like texture absorbs well without feeling sticky, applying lightly to the hair. I loved how it spreads smoothly on the hair without clumping. The scent is a subtle floral? Not too strong, making it perfect for daily use. When applied after blow-drying or using a curling iron, it revives curls with a bouncy finish. Applying it in the morning helps maintain curls to some degree throughout the day. Best of all, I was most impressed by how it tames frizzy hair and adds a beautiful shine!

  Cons

  On rainy days, humidity can cause it to lose some effectiveness (though this applies to most products!) It might be slightly underwhelming for those who prefer an oil-like, glossy finish.

  Pros

  A fantastic product for reviving unruly curly hair! Especially when applied to damp hair, it prevents frizz and perfectly defines curls without any stickiness. Finish with a wet oil for bouncy, hydrated curls that look amazing!

  Cons

  Don't expect this product alone to provide strong curl hold. It feels more like an essence. Applying it to dry hair does increase hold somewhat, but it can leave hair feeling a bit stiff and unnatural. It works best when used in combination with other styling products.

  Pros

  This essence is my secret weapon for maintaining my perm! The curls last incredibly long, and it gives my hair a natural shine that has everyone complimenting how healthy it looks. And this is coming from someone with severely damaged hair! I apply it generously to damp hair after shampooing and towel-drying. It doesn't make my hair stiff like wax but still provides great curl definition. Plus, it smells lovely and doesn't leave any sticky residue.

  Cons

  I can't find any downsides to this product! It doesn't cause any blemishes, and I'm satisfied with the price. No matter how hard I try, I can't think of a single thing to complain about.

  Tip

  I started using this on my hairstylist's recommendation. Now, except for when my hair is straight, I always go for Amos products without even considering alternatives when I have a perm!
