I bought this during a YouTuber's group order, and the color is so intense that it can be used as a mascara substitute. At first, I felt like my lashes looked noticeably longer. The lengthening effect only lasts initially, and after that, there's absolutely no change in my lashes. While it can substitute for mascara, it feels heavy, and even with an eyelash curler, it droops quickly and smudges easily. I can't think of anything particularly good about this product. I bought it during a YouTuber's market event, and it's turned out to be a regrettable purchase. First off, it's expensive but the performance is underwhelming. I can't see any effect of lengthening my lashes, and it doesn't hold up well as a mascara - it droops. Also, it doesn't dry quickly, causing my lashes to stick together, and it easily smudges onto my eyelids. As someone who doesn't wear much makeup, even mascara can feel burdensome and bothersome. However, I love this product because it enhances my lashes subtly when I'm bare-faced, making them look naturally defined without being too noticeable. It's impressive that this lash serum also functions as a regular mascara. The fact that it washes off easily with lukewarm water without needing a makeup remover, and its beneficial ingredients are major advantages. It takes quite a while to dry, which can lead to smudging. The serum formula is quite heavy, so even after curling your lashes with an eyelash curler and applying the product, they tend to droop quickly.

I switched from using Kiehl's basic lash serum to this Black version, and it's incredible. It looks just like mascara and makes my eyebrows appear more defined too. I have monolids and inward-curling lashes, and usually, mascara smudges all over. But this doesn't smudge at all, plus it nourishes my lashes. I'm absolutely thrilled with it! The only downside is that it's a bit pricey, but there's nothing else to complain about! If you use an eyelash curler before applying this, it looks even more like mascara. It's perfect for daily use!
