When I first saw this product, the layered appearance made me wonder if it was an oily serum. But upon closer inspection, I realized it was a hydrating serum. So I decided to give it a try, curious to see how it would perform. Once I started using it, I found that it absorbed lightly and left a soft, smooth finish. I'm quite particular about my skincare routine and how my skin looks the next day, and I was pleased to find that after using this product, my skin was not overly oily and had a smooth, refined appearance.
ConsThe formula was a bit too runny, making it difficult to apply. And if it got into my eyes, it would sting, so I had to be quite careful to avoid that.
TipApplying this product as the last step to balance my skin's oil and moisture levels has resulted in a beautifully smooth complexion the next day.

Those sensitive to fragrance may find it a bit overpowering. (Personally, I'm not a big fan of coconut scents, so it wasn't really my preference.) ✔️Texture I expected the serum to have a thicker, more viscous consistency, but it actually has a very runny, watery texture. It took some getting used to at first, but I learned to apply it without making a mess by cupping my palm under the dropper and quickly spreading it on my face. ✔️Absorption Despite being an oil-based serum, it doesn't feel heavy or greasy at all. The lightweight, water-like texture allows for quick absorption without any stickiness. ✔️Hydration/Moisturizing While the lightweight texture is nice, I did find the overall hydration and moisturizing effects to be a bit lacking. I didn't get a strong sense of deep, long-lasting moisture from this serum. It left my skin feeling a little dry, though the oil base did help prevent the water-like serum from evaporating completely. ➰Overall The runny, watery texture was a bit inconvenient to work with at first, and the hydration could be better. However, those looking for a very lightweight, non-greasy serum may appreciate the formula. It absorbs quickly without leaving a sticky residue, making it a potentially good option for summer use.
ConsThe thin, runny texture was a bit tricky to use and I accidentally got some in my eyes, which stung a little.

I've tried using it both shaken and unshaken, and there's not a huge difference, but shaking it does help it spread more evenly. The formula is surprisingly thin and lightweight, which I really like, especially as the weather gets warmer. It hydrates well without feeling sticky. It helps with dryness, and my skin feels much more moisturized than it looks. It doesn't leave a greasy shine, which I appreciate, and it absorbs really nicely - you just need to gently pat it in rather than rubbing.
ConsThe only downside is that it's a bit too thin, so you have to be careful to use just a small amount at a time, otherwise it can drip down your face, and if it gets in your eyes, it stings quite a bit.
TipUsing the dropper to dispense a small amount and applying it directly to my face right away helps target the dry areas. The cactus ingredients seem to work really well for me, so I'll definitely be repurchasing this.
