I bought this to calm redness, but it made that area feel even more tingly. Even though it doesn't have any potentially irritating ingredients, it still causes a tingling sensation. Usually, aloe gel and madecassoside work well for me, but this product stings. Only the irritated parts of my face feel tingly, while other areas absorb it well without any discomfort. I guess it's just not suitable for me... I'll use it on my body instead. If it doesn't work for your face, try using it on your body. The hydration and absorption are great, making it pleasant to apply. Thumbs up! It falls short on moisturizing power, so it couldn't tackle my deep dryness. I love that it's free from ethanol and alcohol, with gentle ingredients! It contains several components great for hydration and it's so mild on the skin. Any downsides? I honestly can't think of any! It's frequently on sale too, so it's just great overall! 1. Use it instead of aloe gel in an aloe mask! Recommended for those who don't react well to aloe or want something without ethanol. 2. I've been using this for about 3 months now! It really locks in hydration and calms my skin quickly, so I've been using it as a soothing mask very often! You can visibly see the tiny bumps disappearing, it's truly a holy grail product for me. It's a bit sticky... However, it replenishes moisture really fast! This product prevented the onset of skin inflammation that was starting due to improper peeling. Of course, complete recovery requires visiting a hospital, but it's great for reducing redness. It seems to be a gentle and cooling gel. Even though it's a gel, it turns slightly watery when applied. Get some rest as soon as possible. The gentle ingredients allowed me to use it without any irritation! Some soothing gels can sting, but this one is really mild! No downsides so far! However, those with extremely dry skin might find this product alone not quite hydrating enough! I've been using this for over 5 years now. It's great for applying generously thanks to its large size. It doesn't leave my skin feeling dry. As it's a hydrating cream, it's a bit less rich in oils. It's perfect for use during summer. For evening use, try mixing it with a bit of Vaseline for added benefits.

Compared to other soothing gels, the texture is a bit runny, making it slightly messy to apply. Pro tip: Store it in the fridge, then apply it to your face and cover with a damp cotton pad. The moment you apply it, you can feel the cooling effect. I love how it absorbs smoothly without being sticky. It dries quickly and gives a slightly burning sensation. Although it's said to have no harmful ingredients, it doesn't seem to suit my skin.
