I've been using this product since last winter. With regular foundations, I used to get an oily sheen that required me to dust on loads of powder. But this product controls unnecessary shine so well that I don't need to use powder separately anymore. It applies thinly with excellent adherence, so even without touch-ups, it wears off naturally, keeping my skin looking beautiful as time passes. While other products tend to settle into wrinkles when they start to fade, this one does so less noticeably. Above all, I don't like thick application, and this goes on so lightly that my skin feels much more comfortable and less suffocated. I have combination skin, and I think I've found a product that really works for me. The coverage is a bit lacking. Since it applies thinly and adheres well, the coverage might be lower. It conceals minor blemishes, but for larger ones, I found using a concealer along with it helps them become unnoticeable. I highly recommend this for people who dislike feeling like their skin is suffocating and those who find touch-ups bothersome! - b2********Combination SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsEnlarged PoresApr 12, 2025
I tried the Leo J cushion after seeing it trending. Well, it was a bit underwhelming... Unfortunately, as someone with acne-prone skin, it tended to look dry when applied, which was disappointing. It was frustrating that when applied to areas with acne or blemishes, it seemed to make those areas stand out more prominently... - 12*******Combination SkinSensitive SkinInner DrynessEnlarged PoresDead Skin CellsMar 4, 2025
The best part was how quickly it set on my face right after application! I also loved that the shade appeared brighter than my usual tone, giving me a lively complexion. It oxidizes so fast! Really, really fast... And it also emphasized dead skin cells... which was disappointing. I had high hopes for this cushion, but it fell short of my expectations... The coverage seemed almost non-existent. - ss*********Dehydrated SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesEnlarged PoresRednessRecommendedFeb 27, 2025
While it doesn't completely cover large blemishes, it does a great job concealing redness and smaller imperfections. I'm not one for touch-ups because they're a hassle, but this has great staying power and fades beautifully, so I don't really need to bother. Best of all, I love how the cushion has a cute, round marshmallow shape! It tends to separate noticeably when your skin is either dry or very oily. You need to prep your skin thoroughly. It adheres to the skin quickly, so you have to pat it on swiftly. Using a matte powder can cause pilling. However, switching to a different puff solved all these issues... The puff was the problem. Using a Daiso air puff allows for a thin, natural application without any pilling. If you find the product doesn't sit well on your skin, try changing the puff! Just switching the puff made such a difference in how it looks on my skin. For those like me who don't use primer or fixer, when applying matte powder on top, use a brush. Otherwise, it will pill. - oy******Dehydrated SkinSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesInner DrynessDead Skin CellsRecommendedFeb 6, 2025
I usually find shade 21 a bit light and 23 slightly dark, and I tend to have some deep dryness, but this works well for me. The staying power is decent, and the coverage is satisfactory. I don't often use foundation because it's a hassle, but this is convenient and I like it. I haven't experienced any major issues while using it, and it hasn't caused any blemishes. There wasn't anything particularly disappointing. For me, it seems to be a reliable, go-to product. - ni*****Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedFeb 5, 2025
When my skin is in good condition, it applies beautifully and looks great. It doesn't really separate or lift. It doesn't cover the redness from blemishes well, so you need to use it with a concealer. - ze********Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsEnlarged PoresRednessRecommendedJan 17, 2025
As someone who uses shade 21, I found that this cushion looks best when applied in thin layers with careful control of the amount. The finish seems semi-matte to me! First off, the color of the product inside was really pretty. For those with good skin, you might not even worry about the coverage. I loved how simple and pretty the cushion case is. Most importantly, I noticed that as I used it more, the cushion puff seemed to help the product blend into my skin better, which was fantastic. The longevity isn't great, and I found it a bit too light for my skin tone, which led to some darkening as time passed. If you're expecting high coverage, I wouldn't recommend this product. For the prettiest skin finish, apply it thinly with controlled amounts. It might be tricky to control the amount at first, so don't press too hard when you're starting out. - x5********Dry SkinAcne SkinDark CirclesEnlarged PoresDead Skin CellsRecommendedJan 11, 2025
The mirror is huge - it's almost the same size as that big puff next to it! That's how large the mirror is. The deep undertone matched my skin color well. The puff is slightly thinner than other cushions, which actually made it easier to control the amount of product. The cushion itself is quite full of foundation, so one compact lasted me quite a while. When you buy it, you get a box with two items - a puff and a cushion - so once you purchase it, you can use it worry-free for a long time. I have combination skin, and it noticeably emphasizes dead skin cells in areas where I have them. The puff deteriorates a bit. The coverage is really weak... So I'm using it more as a base or brightening moisturizer. - jj*******Combination SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsEnlarged PoresRecommendedJan 11, 2025
The application and coverage are excellent. It's on the more hydrating side for a semi-matte finish, making it perfect for use even in winter. It seems to be less prone to settling into nose creases. The oxidation is extremely severe. The foundation darkened significantly even just an hour after application. - su******Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessEnlarged PoresRednessDead Skin CellsRecommendedJan 10, 2025
I tried it once and was pleasantly surprised that it didn't feel as heavy or cakey as I expected. It also required less touch-ups throughout the day. There's not really anything to complain about. It's particularly well-suited for combination skin types.
