I picked up some goodies during the June Olive Young sale, and among them, the Bring Green Zinc Teca Serum is definitely a keeper! When I slather it on before bed, it works hard to calm down my blemishes and those pesky little bumps. Thinking about how my skin will look in the morning makes me want to keep applying this magical elixir! The only downside is its slimy texture. It stretches out like mucus, and sometimes I accidentally spill a bit on the floor, which feels like a waste. For best results, I recommend applying a thick layer before hitting the hay. - jj****Oily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesEnlarged PoresRednessRecommendedJul 2, 2025
I have combination dehydrated skin that's acne-prone and super sensitive! Without using blemish care products, I always wake up to one or two small pimples the next day. The zinc PCA serum in this product really agrees with my skin. While it doesn't completely prevent breakouts, it quickly calms and eliminates them. After the serum absorbs, my skin feels firmer and develops an Inner Glow. Layering it multiple times can make it a bit sticky, but if you adjust the layers based on your skin's condition that day, it creates the perfect base for makeup. I wouldn't recommend this to those with a compromised skin barrier. This product is meant for soothing blemishes, not for barrier care, so it might be irritating for sensitive skin prone to redness. I have sensitive skin that's prone to flushing too, but I didn't find it irritating when used alongside a barrier cream. On days when I have breakouts, I layer a calming toner twice, followed by two layers of this serum, and then apply a thick layer of barrier cream before bed. While it doesn't make blemishes disappear instantly, I've noticed it helps soothe red, inflamed pimples to some extent. - hj*********Combination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedJul 2, 2025
Since I have an oily T-zone, especially around my nose, I was intrigued by its promise to control excess oil. While I didn't notice much effect on blemish soothing, it definitely helped manage the oiliness on my nose. After using this, my makeup didn't break down on my nose area. I'm quite pleased with it. Good stuff! It seems a bit on the pricey side, unfortunately. You might want to wait for a sale at Olive Young and get it as part of a value set. Also, the texture is somewhat runny and feels a bit slippery when applied. The product appears to be effective for oil control, particularly in the T-zone area. However, its price point and texture may be drawbacks for some users. Consider your skin type and budget when deciding whether to purchase. - ex*******Dehydrated SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsDark CirclesInner DrynessDead Skin CellsJul 2, 2025
I saw a lot of recommendations for this serum, so I decided to give it a try! The texture is quite rich, and after applying it, my skin feels a bit tacky and supple. When I use it before makeup, my foundation goes on beautifully! At first, I thought the product had gone bad because of its scent. There's a lingering musty smell... Also, my main reason for buying this was for its soothing properties, but I didn't see any results whatsoever. I suppose some people must find it effective since they're recommending it, but I'm not convinced. The reviewer had mixed experiences with the serum. They appreciated its texture and how it helped with makeup application, but were disappointed by the scent and lack of soothing effects they were hoping for. - p6********Oily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedJul 1, 2025
I highly recommend this as a soothing product. Whether it's small blemishes or inflamed spots, apply it and by the next morning, you'll see how well it's calmed your skin. It's a real lifesaver when your skin is acting up. The formula absorbs quickly and doesn't feel sticky, making it ideal for those with oily skin types. The only downside is that it's a bit pricey for the amount you get. - db********Combination SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessEnlarged PoresRednessDead Skin CellsJul 1, 2025
I have oily, combination dehydrated skin prone to blemishes. I bought this after seeing so many rave reviews on YouTube and Instagram, but I'm not sure if it's as amazing as everyone claims. They say it improves blemishes in just 3 days, but I didn't really notice any such effect. If you're looking for a decent, run-of-the-mill serum, I'd recommend it. But at this price point? I'm not sure it's worth it. - ki**********Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesInner DrynessEnlarged PoresRednessDead Skin CellsRecommendedJul 1, 2025
This worked wonders when my blemishes were at their worst. It absorbs well and has a great calming effect, which I really appreciated. The dropper reaches all the way to the bottom, so you can use every last drop. I didn't find anything particularly disappointing about it. It's best to buy it when it's on sale though! This review highlights the product's effectiveness in treating severe blemishes, its good absorption, and soothing properties. The user also appreciates the practical design of the dropper. While there are no specific drawbacks mentioned, the reviewer suggests purchasing during sales for better value. - ki*********Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesEnlarged PoresRednessRecommendedJun 30, 2025
Effective for soothing blemishes, and the absorption is not bad. It absorbs well and is recommended for acne-prone and oily skin types. The effects weren't as dramatically noticeable as expected, and I didn't see perfect results. Rather than using it daily, I apply it when I need extra help calming blemishes. - le***********Oily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesEnlarged PoresRecommendedJun 30, 2025
It seems to help when applied to areas with blemishes or itchy spots... While it feels a bit sticky at first, it quickly becomes refreshing. Overall, I found it to be a decent, well-rounded product. The price is... a bit of a burden. Unless it's on sale, I probably wouldn't buy it. - os*****Dehydrated SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessEnlarged PoresRecommendedJun 30, 2025
It absorbs well and gives a nice, firm feeling to the skin. I love how it makes my complexion feel more supple. Although it's marketed as a blemish serum, I'm not sure if it's because of this product, but it didn't seem to calm my skin. Instead, it felt like my skin condition worsened. While individual results may vary, for me, the blemishes didn't go away.
