I gifted this to my mom since she loved the YSL lipstick I gave her before, and this one was lovely too. I bought it thinking it would be a coral pink that's subtly vibrant yet polished, but it turned out to be more of a fuchsia pink with a slight fluorescent touch. The color is quite vivid, which is why my mom said she preferred the previous one. I ended up repurchasing the old shade for her (Rose Dalia). The undertone feels more cool-toned than deep. The color itself is absolutely gorgeous. It's also very moisturizing. When I swatched it on the back of my hand, I noticed it left a stain, suggesting good staying power.
ConsThis is quite personal, but you know how this design is considered the signature look for YSL lipsticks? Well, my mom thought it looked a bit toy-like and wasn't too impressed. She mentioned that her previous YSL lipstick had a simple gold rectangular case without any engraving in the middle, and she preferred that one. While the moisturizing feel is nice, it felt a bit too soft in texture. The intense pigmentation can be a plus, but it's so vivid and strong that applying it directly from the bullet might feel overwhelming. Of course, this depends on your preferred makeup style.

It's a truly stunning deep coral-red that would suit cool undertones best. The color is uniquely gorgeous, a striking coral-pink shade. -Leaves a lovely pinkish-red stain on the lips. -Long-lasting wear.
ConsThe intense pigmentation can be a drawback. It's challenging to achieve a subtle gradient lip look as it doesn't apply lightly, and when applied as a full lip color, it can be an overwhelmingly bright pink. Considering the texture, color, and packaging, the price point feels slightly high. It would be more appealing if it were in the $30 range...
TipFor a gradient lip effect, start by applying the color to the inner part of your lips, stopping just short of the edges. Then, use a base lip color or lip pencil from the outer edges inward. This technique allows for easy blending, creating a natural gradient look.
