When applied to the face, it feels a bit oily, but after massaging it in, my skin becomes hydrated and well-moisturized. I like to lightly pat it over any serums or lotions I've applied to prevent the moisture from evaporating.

When my skin is feeling hot and red, applying this balm generously and leaving it on overnight helps to soothe it by the next day. However, for oily skin types, it may be too rich and exacerbate the issue. But for dry skin, I highly recommend it!

The scent is similar to that of cica products, with a slightly medicinal aroma. There's also a subtle petroleum-like fragrance, but it's not overpowering, and I didn't find it particularly unpleasant, even though I'm sensitive to scents.
