The ingredients are a bit better than Vaseline. It feels more moisturizing, making it perfect for applying to the lips. I wonder what's causing that slightly bumpy texture? It's a minor issue, but I'm curious about it. - ch*********Dry SkinSensitive SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRednessRecommendedDec 14, 2024
The texture is less intimidating than Vaseline, so you can apply it thinly and widely on your face without feeling overwhelmed! Sometimes I notice fine lines around my eyes, possibly from squinting while sleeping. So after applying eye cream, I coat this product around my eye area. It keeps my skin hydrated until morning, and those wrinkles completely disappear! You can buy Vaseline at a pharmacy for just a few dollars... If I had to point out a downside, it's that this is much more expensive than regular Vaseline. - go********Dry SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRednessDead Skin CellsRecommendedNov 20, 2024
Recently, my skin has been quite dry, so after trying various products, I decided to use the Nutcerin Cica Calming Balm. The texture feels like a soft balm with a high oil content, and it has a translucent light green color. When applied to the face, it feels more oily than expected, but once it's absorbed into the skin, it leaves a moisturized and well-hydrated feeling. I gently patted it on as a final step to seal in the moisture from my serum and emulsion. On days when my skin felt irritated and red, I applied a generous amount before bed, and the next morning my skin felt noticeably calmer. Those with oily skin might find it too rich and potentially aggravating. However, for dry skin, I highly recommend it! The scent has that typical medicinal cica fragrance, perhaps a bit stronger than other products. It's not just the cica scent though; there's also a hint of that heavy, vaseline-like oil smell. Despite being sensitive to fragrances, I didn't find it particularly unpleasant. So far, I haven't found any downsides to using the Nutcerin Cica Calming Balm. - an*******Dehydrated SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresDead Skin CellsRecommendedOct 9, 2024
Great for soothing and deep hydration. It's a must-have for those with severe dryness around the mouth. The balm type is comfortable and effective. No real downsides. However, the lid seems a bit flimsy. They might need to change it or come up with a different design. - or***Combination SkinSensitive SkinRednessRecommendedJul 4, 2024
I used this product well during the dry season. I bought it from a home shopping channel, so the price was affordable. I even gifted it to friends and applied it all over my body. I was satisfied because it has better ingredients than Vaseline and provides definite hydration. Naturally, due to its oily formula and ingredients, it's too heavy to apply in hot weather. I noticed it caused blemishes when I used it on sensitive skin. - j6********Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinAtopic SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRednessDead Skin CellsRecommendedJun 3, 2024
My lips used to crack in both summer and winter, but after using this, they stay moisturized for longer. Applying a generous amount before bed works wonders for removing dead skin cells from my lips! There's nothing bad to say! I even bought other varieties. It's really great, though it might be a bit pricey. - aa*****Combination SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRecommendedMay 10, 2024
I bought this without high expectations, but it's surprisingly better than I anticipated. It's incredibly smooth, soft, and applies beautifully. Rather than feeling like an oil sitting on top of the skin, it absorbs well. It also has a soothing effect on irritated skin. The high price point compared to the amount you get is a bit disappointing. Other than that, I haven't found any drawbacks yet. - co******Combination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedApr 24, 2024
I've used up an entire jar! It's incredibly useful during seasonal changes. Every time the seasons shift, my face tends to burn and makeup doesn't adhere well, but this product was a huge help last autumn. The amount is so generous that I could apply it liberally morning and evening, and even reapply throughout the day for several months. It calmed the burning sensation and left my skin with a healthy glow. It feels like expensive Vaseline. You can buy Vaseline at the pharmacy for just $3, and since the container looks exactly the same, this product feels overpriced. - aa*******Combination SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsRednessRecommendedMar 2, 2024
When I first used it, I wondered if it was actually doing anything... But after applying it consistently for 1-2 weeks, you can really see the results!!!! I bought it because I heard a lot of negative things about Vaseline, but this isn't bad at all! It does take a bit of time to see the effects, but keep applying it consistently!!! - ma*******Oily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinInner DrynessEnlarged PoresRednessRecommendedJan 8, 2024
1. I've been on a skincare diet, using just one moisturizer before bed. But in the dead of winter, it felt insufficient, so I bought this. Finishing with this product after any basic cream is more than enough - you'll never feel lacking. 2. Compared to Vaseline, the ingredients are surprisingly good! 1. For a cica cream, it has an unexpectedly strong minty scent (those with sensitive noses might find it off-putting). 2. It's significantly pricier compared to Vaseline...
