I was curious about this product when I saw it being sold at a high price in my local pharmacy, and I must say it's worth the cost. It has a firm stick texture that's not too soft, yet it's still moisturizing. Some lip balms are as soft as lip essences or sleeping creams, but I like that this one is solid yet hydrating. It's not suitable for applying a thick layer before bed. If that's what you're looking for, you might prefer the lip essence from the same brand's lineup. It's great for carrying around and applying lightly throughout the day. Even in hot summer weather, it didn't melt easily. Moisturizes without feeling heavy or suffocating. Dead skin cells are reduced and lips don't crack. While tube-type lip essences are commonly found in pharmacies, stick types are rare and must be purchased online. Just buy it. When I was struggling with cold sores, I used this along with ointment and it worked well. After applying it whenever I had a chance for about two days, it improved significantly. Personally, I feel it manages dryness better than the Nivea SOS lip balm. If you apply too much, your lips can get super shiny. Other than that, I have no complaints.
