MAC lipsticks are already famous for their quality, and this one's no exception! The scent is delightfully sweet too. However, this shade doesn't quite suit me personally. I think it would be perfect for those with warm spring complexions. Oddly, it leaves a whitish cast on my lips, so I only use it occasionally as a base layer. - jy*******Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessRecommendedAug 20, 2024
I have a deep undertone and my complexion is between normal and slightly dark. This color is absolutely gorgeous! I highly recommend it! It gives a slight apricot tint while also creating a nude look. If I had to point out a drawback, it's that it's a bit matte, so if you layer it, it can highlight dead skin cells or cracks on your lips. But this isn't a problem if you take care of your lips and follow the method I mention below. Since I love a glowy lip, I first apply a slightly glowy lipstick as a base, then layer this MAC lipstick on top. Instead of swiping it on, which can accentuate flakiness, I gently pat it onto my lips repeatedly for a beautiful application. - ke*******Combination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedJun 14, 2024
Likely a soft spring tone. High saturation doesn't suit well, but brightness is important. I usually wear Amuse Hip G lightly, or Rom&nd Peach Honey Bee. For a more dramatic look, I use Rom&nd Nude Peanut. [Coverage] The lipstick provides excellent coverage. It applies evenly without showing the natural lip color underneath, so you don't need to worry about defining your lip line separately. [Colorful nude tone] It's a nude tone that doesn't look pale or washed out. It gives a bright, well-finished look. [Blush] This product really shines when used as a blush. On days when you're feeling lazy about makeup, you can use this product to finish your eyes, cheeks, and lips all at once. It lasts long when applied as a blush. [Dryness] It's extremely drying. The texture is very stiff. It's not easy to apply, and I don't think I could use it in winter. It's best to apply a moisturizing tint or lip gloss over this product. Dab it on to build up the color. For using as a blush, swatch it on the back of your hand first, then use your finger to apply it to your cheeks for the best results. - os*****Combination SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresApr 4, 2024
Great base lip color for layering! - While too intense for me on its own, it's perfect as a base for blending - Works wonderfully as a base when doing an overlip look It's extremely matte, so I don't find myself reaching for it very often, unfortunately - k2*****Dry SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsInner DrynessRednessRecommendedMar 13, 2024
When I wear this and go out, people ask what I'm wearing because the color looks so pretty. Some say it has a deep undertone and the color is dull, but I don't really notice that. I'm just enjoying using it. Most MAC lipsticks don't apply well if there's any moisture on your lips. It's like trying to feed a fussy baby! - ye***********Dry SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinEnlarged PoresRecommendedJan 28, 2024
MAC's biggest advantage is their wide range of colors. It's also quite affordable for a department store brand, making it great for gifts. The shades are beautiful, but they were a bit too light for me, so I could barely wear it. Also, since it's matte, it does emphasize dead skin cells a bit. If matte doesn't suit you, don't buy this... I tried it once, and it was extremely matte, even more than 3CE. My lips were so dry that I tried applying gloss on top, but it didn't blend well and ended up being a disaster. - eo*****Oily SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsEnlarged PoresDead Skin CellsRecommendedJan 4, 2024
The deep undertone shade is a pleasantly wearable coral color with just the right intensity It should suit most people well, as long as it doesn't appear too muddy on your complexion
