This lipstick was recommended after my personal color analysis for my deep autumn tone! The color is absolutely stunning. It applied smoothly and moisturized my lips, with a beautiful glow (might be due to my lip balm). When applied lightly, it gives a delicate MLBB look perfect for a bare-faced style. As you build it up, it transforms into a more brown-tinted red. It's a classic brick lipstick, but I love how versatile it is depending on how you apply it. The downside is that, being a lipstick, its staying power is close to zero. It doesn't stain the lips either. But I actually prefer reapplying cleanly, so that's a plus for me! As someone who always wears lip balm and rarely experiences dry lips, I haven't found it drying. However, since it's a matte lipstick, be careful with dead skin cells. If you know brown doesn't suit you or you're definitely not a warm tone, avoid this - it might make you look sallow! The first photo shows a light application. The second photo is closest to the actual color. The third was taken under LED lighting. If you think it looks pink in the photos, check the fourth and fifth pictures - it's just orange-brown. That's how it appears on my lips, there's no pink, it's orange-brown. If you apply it without thinking, you'll notice your lips turning brick-colored. Since I apply it over lip balm, it appears lighter on me than it might on others. - ky******Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinAtopic SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRednessDead Skin CellsRecommendedJul 14, 2023
MAC lipstick's color payoff is unmatched. There's simply no other product that compares. The Marrakesh lipstick is matte, but it doesn't feel excessively dry when applied! And the color... it's absolutely mind-blowing. As a warm-toned person, I was initially worried the shade might be too intense, but oh my... it's become my holy grail lipstick! I've been using it year-round, that's how satisfied I am. Since I'm not a fan of full lip coverage, I apply it to the inner part of my lips and gently pat it outwards for a gradient effect. It looks incredibly luxurious... I sincerely hope it never gets discontinued. Being a matte lipstick, if your lips aren't well-moisturized, it can become dry later and may flake or clump like dead skin cells. But I suppose that's a common issue with all matte lipsticks? On days when you want to make a statement, go for full lip coverage. For daily wear, apply it as a gradient for an effortlessly chic look.
