This is a cushion that I have used for about 1 year!! The matte cushion has good coverage! However, it felt a bit thick and stuffy for me🥲 So I applied it thinly and layered it twice, and my skin looks really beautiful✨✨ And it has good adherence, so it feels like it's sticking to my skin. It's a product that I've used well regardless of the season❄️☀️ But since it's a matte type, I highly recommend it especially in the summer!!

The coverage is around medium to high! The cushion covered my pores densely and also covered my blemishes well. It was great that I could apply it thinly and it still covered everything without needing to layer it thickly. The adhesion and moisture were great. It adhered well when applied thinly, and it quickly set like I had used a fixative. The set finish also maintained its clean look. The color was just right for me, who uses shades 19-20, and it looked natural. There was no noticeable darkening. The longevity and lack of breakdown were impressive. It felt like I had layered on fixative after fixative - the staying power was very high, and my skin expression didn't change much even without touch-ups.
Cons
For someone like me who is not very skilled, choosing a matte cushion was a huge decision.🥹 I had to apply the base meticulously and let it absorb fully, so that the skin expression would look neat. But when I looked in the mirror after work to cleanse my face, the pores were accentuated..🥲 This was almost my first time using a matte cushion, so I applied powder at the end without knowing anything, and that day my makeup came off a bit. The scar coverage was so good, I really liked it! And compared to the matte formula, it went on very thinly without feeling stuffy, which I really liked! There are some downsides, but as someone who usually prefers a matte and thin skin expression, this is a cushion I really love.
Cons
I've seen reviews that say the texture is very pronounced, and it's really true!! It's too much! I have to look at my face from a distance.. I have a neutral complexion, so I didn't have much dryness, but for those of you who are even slightly dry, it might crack a bit... Not recommended for dry skin types. The blemish coverage is really good, but deep scars are left black and inflammatory acne-like blemishes don't get covered very well, so you have to use a concealer.. I was recommended shade 19 and the Espoir came out bright, so I thought 20 would be fine, but the Espoir is really! too! bright! Since it's not a glow cushion, the coverage is quite high, and my skin looks really nice. When I apply it, it goes on smoothly and evenly without clogging my pores or settling into fine lines. Among the cushion foundations I've tried in my life, this one from Espoir is my absolute favorite. No other cushion I've tried can compare to this one. When I first used it, it was a bit of a culture shock. The initial texture when applying it feels a bit powdery, but if you just lightly adjust the amount, it adheres beautifully to the skin. In the summer, I apply a thin layer of the velvet-like formula and top it off with a setting spray and powder, and it lasts all day without budging or looking cakey. In the winter, when my skin can get dry, I make sure to build a good skincare base first, and applying the cushion with a damp puff works wonders. Without using additional powder, as my natural oils come through, it develops a gorgeous, glowy finish. The cushion has great adherence and longevity, and it does an amazing job of filling in pores, making my skin look beautiful. Even when it starts to break down, it does so in a flattering way. As expected from Espoir, the shade range is lovely.
