But this one seems to be just right! Usually, if I use the wrong cleanser, I break out immediately. However, this product actually calms my skin. It seems to contain some kind of ingredient that helps smooth out dead skin cells! I tend to have quite a bit of flakiness, but after using this, my skin felt super smooth. I first tried it after winning it in an event, and I'm really impressed! While using it, I didn't have any major complaints, but after cleansing, my skin felt a bit tight, which made it feel dry. The best thing about this product is that there's no tightness after cleansing. I use it as my second cleanse after removing makeup with cleansing oil. While it didn't cause significant irritation or tightness, with continued use I noticed my skin becoming smoother. I'd say it really improved my skin texture, which I loved. The cleansing effectiveness wasn't as strong as I'd hoped, but I can overlook that since it delivered results without irritation. Unlike other cleansing foams, this has a thick texture and doesn't lather much, which might take some getting used to. However, if you stick with it, you'll start to appreciate its benefits! I won this in an event and I'm writing this review after using up the entire bottle. First off, I really liked that it's mildly acidic. Also, there was no tightness after cleansing. For those with dry skin, I think it's not bad for morning cleansing. It doesn't lather up well when used with bare hands. I recommend using a bubble maker. If you're trying to remove makeup or sunscreen, the cleansing effectiveness is lower, so a second cleanse is a must. I've been using this consistently when washing my face in the evening, and I'm impressed! It lathers well and seems to have good cleansing effectiveness. There's no skin tightness after washing, which is great! I personally enjoy herbal scents, so I got used to it quickly, but I can see how the fragrance might be a matter of personal preference. As someone with blemish-prone skin, I felt a slight tingling sensation when I first used the product...! It settled down after a while though. I loved how it left my skin feeling moisturized without any tightness after cleansing. Highly recommended for those with dry skin! I liked that it wasn't overly drying, which was great for my dry skin. It had some small granules that gave a slight exfoliating sensation, helping to remove dead skin cells. The strong fragrance was a bit disappointing. Post-cleanse hydration My face doesn't feel tight after washing! Many cleansing foams for blemish-prone skin, in an effort to remove excess oil, leave your skin feeling squeaky clean or quickly dried out. This one does none of that. It leaves your skin feeling refreshed while maintaining adequate hydration! 2. Rich lather I was amazed by the lather from just a small amount. At first, when I rubbed it between my hands, I thought, 'Oh no, where's the foam?' But with just a touch of water - boom! Foam explosion!! The cleansing effectiveness goes without saying. 3. Cooling effect and scent There's a subtle cooling effect after washing, which feels fantastic in this hot weather. The scent isn't unscented, but has a slight fragrance - like a fresh, herbal aroma? I'm usually very sensitive to fragrances, but this one isn't strange at all. In fact, I quite like it! The price point is a tad high...? However, it's not as slippery as typical low pH cleansing foams. It's perfect for those evenings or mornings when you're too lazy to apply skincare products after cleansing - it works hard for you! Consistency: It has that run-of-the-mill cleansing foam texture we're all familiar with. Not too firm, not too runny. If I had to rate it, I'd say it's about 60% firm and 40% soft. Scent: It has a smell that anyone from the countryside would recognize. It's like crushed leaves mixed with a honey scent. Sometimes this fragrance is pleasant, other times it can be a bit bothersome. I think the scent might be a love-it-or-hate-it kind of thing. While it's not an unpleasant smell, it does tend to linger. As mentioned, the lingering scent is a bit disappointing. If the leafy smell stuck around with the honey scent, it wouldn't be so bothersome, but it's just that sticky, sweet honey smell that remains. The biggest issue, though, is the packaging... The container design has small black letters in the top left, top right, and bottom right corners. I'm not kidding when I say it looks like mold spots. When you're about to wash your face, you've taken off your glasses, and your vision is a bit blurry, you might actually mistake it for grime or dirt!
