When you want to achieve a glowing complexion, lightly apply it to your cheekbones. It gives your skin a dewy glow that makes it look absolutely radiant! It creates a subtle, beautiful luminosity in photos too. Although it's a stick type, directly rubbing it on your face can remove your makeup. You need to gently warm it up with your fingers first, then pat it onto your skin for the best application. For a completely natural look, warm the product on the back of your hand, then lightly dab it onto your skin. This technique gives an incredibly natural finish. - bo*******Dry SkinSensitive SkinInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresApr 29, 2025
It's a moisturizing balm that doesn't cause any blemishes or irritation, even when applied around the eyes. Considering the price, the texture is too soft, causing it to melt quickly in higher temperatures. I found it works best when applied before foundation, as it tends to cause pilling if used after makeup. - sk******Dehydrated SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityRecommendedMar 5, 2025
The luxurious sheen really makes you think, 'This is Chanel, alright!' It's wonderful how applying it to your cheekbones creates a radiant highlight that brightens up your whole look. If you have oily skin, the glow might be excessive, and the rich formula could potentially lead to blemishes. - ww****Dry SkinSensitive SkinMar 1, 2025
1. Luxurious brand image and design 2. Attractive product advertising 1. Performance doesn't meet expectations for the price 2. Strong pilling effect leads to uneven application 3. The overall experience isn't particularly satisfying 4. Ended up rarely using it, becoming a product that's mostly left forgotten - lw*****Combination SkinSensitive SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRecommendedFeb 11, 2025
It's been my go-to product for over 5 years now. I carry it in my bag and apply it under my eyes, on my lips, and even on my cuticles. The best part? No shimmer! I love it so much that I often gift it to friends and family. The Kahi one feels super hydrating, but Chanel is the ultimate winner. It's great except for the price tag. I tried a non-transparent version once, but for daily use, I prefer the clear one. I have quite a few of the transparent ones. - hj*****Dry SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessRednessRecommendedJan 30, 2025
For dry, blemish-prone skin: After applying makeup or sunscreen, finish by gently patting the melted product with your fingers on your forehead, nose bridge, above the lips, and cheekbones. This instantly elevates your complexion by at least 30 points! It's expensive because it's Chanel... They have white and beige, but you should definitely go for the beige. - kh*********Oily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsRednessRecommendedDec 9, 2024
This is truly a holy grail item for that Inner Glow blush effect! Apply a liquid blush first, and if you need more, layer this on top. It's unbeatable for achieving that lit-from-within glow. The only downside for me is that I need to apply it several times for it to show up, but other than that, everything about it is great. - le******Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityRecommendedDec 6, 2024
It gives you a dewy, hydrated glow!! A must-have for that coveted 'glass skin' makeup look. I'm touched by how simple and good the ingredients are for a highlighter. Even makeup novices can achieve that luminous, glass-like finish with just a few swipes! When applied over makeup, it can make your hair stick to your face, and those with combination dehydrated or super sensitive skin might experience some redness! After using it for about two weeks, I had to stop because of some blemishes appearing. I loved it so much, but my skin just couldn't handle it. For those with combination dehydrated, sensitive skin, it might be creating a film that's causing breakouts, so I'll keep an eye on it. Apply it over your sunscreen and then cover with foundation or cushion for a subtle, lasting glow. - dl***********Dry SkinAcne SkinAtopic SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsInner DrynessDead Skin CellsRecommendedDec 3, 2024
I highly recommend this for those seeking a natural glow! The stick format is so convenient - no mess on your hands. I love applying it to areas where I want more volume before using my cushion foundation. If you add a touch more after your makeup, you'll get such a subtle, natural radiance that people might wonder if you've been getting professional treatments. It truly gives you that 'Inner Glow'! If you tend to apply thick layers of foundation, you might experience some pilling when using this product after your makeup. - eu*****Dry SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsInner DrynessRecommendedOct 31, 2024
When you look in the mirror, you'll likely notice areas that could use some volume. The Chanel Glow Stick is perfect for adding a luxurious and subtle glow to sunken areas, creating a volumizing effect. I'm generally a fan of stick highlighters, but Chanel's product really stands out. Even when applied after makeup, it adheres seamlessly to the skin with minimal pilling or flaking, which I find incredibly satisfying. Upon application, I was delighted to feel a moisturizing glow without any stickiness. The effect lasts for hours without drying out, which is truly impressive. What sets this product apart is that it's not just an oil-based highlighter. It combines a rich, hydrating glow with a subtle, pearlescent shimmer, resulting in a natural and sophisticated 'Inner Glow' that I find myself reaching for frequently. This stick highlighter is versatile too. It works beautifully as a finishing touch after skincare when you want that dewy look, and it's equally effective over makeup. It layers well without disturbing your base and has good staying power, which I really appreciate. I'm so satisfied with this product that I honestly can't think of any downsides.
