I was looking for a tinted lip balm and bought this when it was on sale. I loved that it's a vegan tinted lip balm, but what really caught my eye was the brick red shade - a color that's hard to find in tinted balms. It gives a natural, healthy flush to the lips without being too bold, and I'm really satisfied with its subtle, sophisticated hue. The concave design made it quite challenging to apply. Also, there might be an issue with the case as I had to push the product back in with my lips every time I used it.

For everyday use, this alone works great as both a lip balm and tint. Unfortunately, the twist-up mechanism broke after just one day, making it difficult to use. It's quite inconvenient... I love how the toned-down red complements my bare face so well! It's great to carry around and apply whenever my skin feels dry - it's so hydrating. I can't think of any downsides. The 05 Brick Red appears to be the brightest and most vivid red when looking at the stick alone, but when comparing all four colors, it's actually a slightly darker, brick-like red lip balm. The differences are subtle enough that you'd need to apply all four at once to really notice. On the lips, it gives a slightly muted red tone that adds a lovely, lively look. The color swatch shown is after 7-8 applications, so when applied normally, it's much more subtle and natural. It glides on smoothly with a moisturizing feel, making it a great lip balm. The color is light enough that it doesn't leave any staining. 02 Rose Red: A subtle, natural shade with a slightly pinkish red tone. 03 Glory Red: A red lip balm with a hint of orange. 04 Red Velvet: The brightest and most vivid red among the four. 05 Brick Red: A red lip balm with a slightly darker, brick-like tone compared to the stick color. When comparing all four colors side by side, you can see slight differences. However, when applied to the lips, they all give a subtle tint that looks quite similar. If you're looking for more noticeable color, I'd recommend 04 Red Velvet or 05 Brick Red. The color payoff is quite sheer, requiring about 7-8 applications for the tint to become visible. It's solid but applies smoothly, instantly softening and moisturizing the lips. Though it looks like the deepest color, it doesn't show up much on me. It's not that I wanted a lip color, but it's perfect for casual outings around the neighborhood - just like wearing a light lip gloss. The hydration is so good that I'm willing to overlook everything else. There's nothing to complain about. It's excellent value for money. I'd highly recommend it. I'm not sure yet.
