First off, the color is absolutely gorgeous! The pigmentation is excellent too! The staying power is impressive as well. Being a cream type, when applied as a blush, it makes your skin look incredibly hydrated and gives a natural, inner glow-like finish. The amount you get is so generous, it feels like it'll last a lifetime! Occasionally, after using it, I notice small blemishes appearing on my cheeks. - oh******Dry SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresDead Skin CellsRecommendedApr 14, 2025
A transparent red! When applied to the lips, it's so beautiful, like you've captured a translucent rose in your mouth. As a cheek color, it felt a bit overwhelming. I'm actively using it as a lip product instead. Use Healthy Pink to define your lip line and as a base color, then apply Lively Rosewood towards the center for a naturally gorgeous gradient effect. - hy*****Oily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRecommendedFeb 11, 2025
A product that makes your lips look beautiful even when they're not in the best condition! - One application gives a natural color that enhances your complexion. Layering it on the inner part of your lips creates an even prettier rose tint. (The actual color is similar to the photo!) - Works well for Summer Cool tones. I was worried because it's called 'Wood', but it's not as deep as I thought. It has a calm feel and is a color that looks beautiful on both warm and cool tones! - Makes your lips look pretty even when they're not in great condition, and the glossy finish lasts long! Due to my job, I wear a mask for extended periods. While there's some transfer, I'm very satisfied with the glossiness, pigmentation, and staying power. - The packaging is also gorgeous! The main downsides are the wickedly increasing price every year and the fact that you need to get a separate brush. It pairs perfectly with the chubby lip brush from Daiso. Highly recommended! - ha******Oily SkinEnlarged PoresRecommendedJan 6, 2025
The hexagonal product is comfortable and nice to use. Unlike some cheaper lip and cheek products that can cause issues, this one doesn't. It's not too oily, the staying power is decent, and the color isn't overpowering or overly trendy. If the price isn't a concern, it's a great choice for an everyday, go-to item. It's just an average product for working professionals. The lip color doesn't really justify the price. Also, depending on the situation or outfit, you might need to apply just this or pair it with another lipstick. Considering you'll likely need to buy another lipstick anyway, the value for money drops even further. - hy**********Dry SkinSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesInner DrynessRecommendedAug 25, 2024
The moisturizing formula makes it great for winter use. Compared to cream blushers, it leaves less residue on your base makeup. It allows for a fresh and radiant complexion. It even creates an Inner Glow that wasn't there before! It can be a bit challenging to use hygienically. It doesn't completely prevent transfer onto base makeup. While there are affordable alternatives, nothing compares to its luxurious glow and texture. Highly recommended for those who love a fresh and radiant makeup look. A small tip: use a spatula to scoop out product for more hygienic and prolonged use. - th********Dry SkinSensitive SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsEnlarged PoresRecommendedJul 3, 2024
The color is vibrant and vivid. It's a clear, beautiful shade that suits both warm and cool skin tones. The packaging is so pretty that it's worth collecting in different colors. The price is disappointing. It's gone up again, now exceeding $60. - ja********Combination SkinMay 6, 2024
The color is truly beautiful and it gives a lovely glow. There's surprisingly a lot of product, so it lasts a while, making it good value for money. I usually exfoliate my lips well by applying lip balm daily. While I've had no issues with drugstore or other department store brand lip products, this one suddenly makes my lips extremely flaky. I could understand if it were a matte product, but this is supposed to be moisturizing. Even when I use a lip primer first, apply this Chanel product, and then layer a lip balm on top, I still get dead skin cells forming. - cr********Combination SkinWrinkles/ElasticityRednessRecommendedApr 21, 2024
It absorbs beautifully. One coat looks natural on bare skin without feeling uncomfortable. After applying foundation, about three coats give the perfect color payoff. The price is quite steep. Having to apply it with your fingers raises some hygiene concerns. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRednessRecommendedDec 27, 2023
As someone with a cool summer complexion, I was in need of something to use as a base for my lips and overall look. This product came as a perfect gift, and I've been using it since. The color payoff is sophisticated and not too dark for my skin tone. While you can use your fingertips to apply it as a blush, if you want to apply it precisely to your lips, a brush would be even better! - oh*********Combination SkinSensitive SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRecommendedOct 19, 2023
First off, the color is absolutely gorgeous. Whether you're warm or cool-toned (though it might suit cool tones slightly better), if you love a muted rose shade, I highly recommend this. It naturally enhances your lip color, giving you a healthy, beautiful look. The texture is delightfully plump and adheres to your lips wonderfully. It's more like a lipstick than a balm, but still has that balm-like quality. Though it looks solid, it melts smoothly with your body heat. The staying power is truly incredible. Even with just a thin, double application, it leaves a subtle tint that persists even after eating or drinking (unlike some products that completely disappear, leaving you with your natural lip color). The price is the main drawback... Chanel's beauty products keep getting more expensive, unfortunately. Also, since it comes in a pot that you twist open, you'll need a tool to apply it, whether that's your fingers or a lip brush. This makes it a bit inconvenient for touch-ups when you're out and about. 5 out of 5 stars! While it's not without its flaws, they're easy to overlook given how beautifully this muted rose MLBB shade enhances your natural lip color.
