It sets makeup well and the scent is pleasant. After trying several others, I've settled on this one. There's nothing particularly disappointing about it. It's quite good to use, so I recommend it. - al********Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresDec 16, 2017
While the packaging has changed, I believe the formula hasn't been renewed. The most impressive feature is its fixing power! Is there anything more important for a fixer? When I went to Taiwan in summer, my makeup was melting and separating like crazy. But with this, it's noticeably less prone to melting and separating. It's leagues ahead of those wishy-washy fixers that make you wonder if they're even doing anything! Even with my super sensitive skin, it didn't cause any blemishes. It's a pump spray, not a fine mist, so the spray is quite strong and needs careful control. The scent is not just unpleasant to me, but genuinely awful! Despite this, I can't go without it in summer, which is frustrating. The saddest part is the wicked price... it hurts my wallet! For intense fixing power, try spraying the fixer on a puff, applying your base makeup, then spraying the fixer directly on your face once more! For the best deal, buy it at duty-free shops! Duty-free is the way to go! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinMar 7, 2017
This product is so famous that I had high expectations, and it exceeded them! Rather than using it daily, I sprayed it on days when I needed to be out for long hours, in humid and hot weather, or on important occasions. Each time, it helped my makeup last longer, which I'm really grateful for. When you spray it on, you can visibly see that your makeup lasts longer, so I just can't give it up. I'm almost finished with it, and I'm 100% going to repurchase. The spray power is terrible. It's like a squirt gun. When I first used it, it came out in a clump in one spot. You have to press quite hard for it to come out, so you need to spray from a distance and with some force. Also, one spray is nowhere near enough to cover your whole face. As for the scent, at first I thought 'What on earth is this smell? Why is it so bad?' But as you use it, you get desensitized to the scent because the product works so well. Usually people spray this after doing their makeup, but I spray it before applying my base, right after sunscreen! This seems to make the base adhere better and increases its staying power. Then, if you spray it once more as a finishing touch after all your makeup is done, it works amazingly well. - by*******Dry SkinJan 5, 2017
I've tried several other fixers, but this one seems to have the best staying power and overall quality. Despite hearing many reviews about its terrible ingredients, I haven't experienced any blemishes yet. I think I've been using this exclusively for about 2-3 years now. I really like that it has a double lid. The ingredients aren't great, which is a downside. But everything else about it is pretty good. Buy the large size and transfer some to a smaller bottle for easy portability. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinOct 10, 2016
The staying power is rumored to be absolutely amazing!!! More than 20 characters I have oily skin in summer and extremely dry skin in winter. My makeup tends to fade earlier than others. I heard great things about this product, so despite it being pricey for me, I closed my eyes and bought it hoping for a day when my makeup would last. However, it's just okay... pretty similar to others. When I spray this, it seems to wash out my BB cream's complexion, so initially, my skin tone looks a bit dull... After applying your makeup, spray this on, then lightly dab a matte concealer on key areas for the best results! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinJul 22, 2016
I think it's just a decent, average makeup fixer. When I spray it on a sponge and apply, it seems to settle into pores more noticeably. As for longevity, I'm not sure about other areas, but on my nose, perhaps due to oiliness, it feels like it breaks down even faster. If you spray it on a sponge and then apply foundation, you might experience product settling into pores. For those with more visible pores, it might be better to apply your makeup first and then spray the fixer afterwards. - ru****Combination SkinSensitive SkinMay 26, 2016
Like most people, I bought this after reading reviews and I'm quite satisfied. I can confidently say I've tried almost all the famous makeup fixers out there, but this one feels different from the rest. I'm not sure if this is a pro or a con, but after some time, your face becomes incredibly radiant, like you have glass skin... I thought it was just me, but when I sprayed it on my friend, the same thing happened, haha! I was worried because other reviews mentioned a tingling sensation, but even with my super sensitive skin, I didn't experience any irritation. There don't seem to be any real drawbacks. Oh, one thing - when you first use it, you need to pump it at least 70 times before the product comes out (your finger will hurt...). After spraying, if you fan your face or use a small fan to dry it, your makeup will set more neatly. This is a universal tip for all fixers! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinMay 8, 2016
I can confidently say this is the best makeup fixer out there! My makeup used to smudge and need touch-ups throughout the day due to oily skin, but with one spritz of Urban Decay's fixer, those worries are gone! I'm strongly recommending it to all my friends! There's not much to complain about, but if I had to pick something, it would be the spray power. This product is meant to be applied after you've finished your makeup routine.
