The 'Yellow 21' shade reminds me of a ripe peach, but it's much softer and lighter than the official website photos suggest. It seems like it would be perfect for those with pale or bright complexions. This shade works wonderfully as a base for subtle makeup looks or as a blush base. I've previously used Nars' mousse-type blush quite successfully, and this is my first time trying their liquid formula. Due to the nature of liquid blushes, it's crucial to control the amount you apply. If you use too much or fail to blend properly, it might make your base makeup appear to 'melt'. Remember, precision in application is key! While I'm using this product without any major complaints, I bought it at a 50% discount. By then, most shades were already sold out, leaving this as my only option. I'm wondering if it's being discontinued or if a major product overhaul is in the works... - yo*******Combination SkinSep 6, 2024
I've never seen such a delicate, yogurt-like apricot liquid blush before. I bought it for its unique color. However, it's best suited for those with very fair skin tones, as it might not show up on darker complexions. It's great as a base and perfect for fair-skinned individuals who prefer a subtle, innocent look that appears almost invisible. (Not recommended for those with darker skin tones.) The ingredients are decent for a color cosmetic, and it absorbs well. The scent... it's quite polarizing, reminiscent of a strong men's aftershave. It's surprisingly potent too. I've never encountered such a fragrance in a color cosmetic before. Why add this scent to such a beautiful blush? I'm usually tolerant, but this fragrance is so distracting that I'm unsure if I can use it. I'm giving it four stars solely for the color. I desperately hope they'll keep the color and texture but release an unscented version in the future. - 3d*****Combination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedDec 12, 2023
Provides a great hydrated glow when used as a base sunscreen alone. This product has amazing synergy when mixed with concealer. It's more watery than other shades. Not sure if it's meant to be a dark concealer for bare skin, but while it works well mixed with concealer, the formula is too thin. Other shades have more viscosity, so when mixed with concealer, they blend better. Veil Bay is so watery that if you don't get the ratio right when mixing with dark concealer, it can dry out as the moisture evaporates. Left: Veil Bay / Right: Pale Blossom
