The pads are incredibly thin and large, which is great because they're saturated with product. Their thinness makes them perfect for use as a toner mask - they adhere well to the skin. Overall, I'm quite satisfied, so there's nothing particularly disappointing to mention. Using these pads as a mask is fantastic for combating deep dryness. I love that these patches are large and thin, so I can tear them and stick them wherever I need. I'm on my second bottle now, and they haven't caused any blemishes while keeping my skin hydrated. The pads are large and thin, making them perfect for wearing while drying your hair. They're generously soaked in essence, and once you've used all the pads, you can still dampen cotton pads with the leftover essence in the container for about 3 more uses. They seem to have a soothing effect on the skin as well. I can't think of any significant downsides, which is why I'm now on my 6th container! The pads are so thin that it's challenging to separate them one by one. I had tried a famous houttuynia cordata toner from another brand before and it completely wrecked my skin, so I've been avoiding anything with houttuynia since. But I saw so many great reviews for this on Instagram that I decided to give it a chance. It was fine for the first few days, but then my skin suddenly flared up. I'm still stressed about the blemishes it left behind... On the bright side, the pads themselves are thin and adhere well, so I think people whose skin agrees with houttuynia will enjoy using this. I tried using it as a toner pack while drying my hair, but it doesn't seem to have any effect on reducing skin heat. Also, the pads seem to dry out rather quickly...?! The pads are thin, so they adhere well to the skin. I witnessed a miracle when my skin calmed down in just one day after using them! Using four pads every morning before makeup means I go through them quickly. I'd be thrilled if they offered a larger size...

It seems larger than other pads on the market. While you might need two sheets from other brands to cover your cheeks, one Lief Lab sheet covers them completely. The only slight disappointment is that the soothing effect isn't dramatically noticeable. There's so much essence that after using the sheet, you can soak a few cotton pads with the leftover liquid for an extra round of toner masking. It works great for a final touch!
