Highly recommended for fans of Margiela fragrances. The moisturizer absorbs well, providing good hydration and moisture. The scent longevity is also quite decent. The price is truly a bitter pill to swallow. If you slather it on morning and night, you'll run out in no time. - ne**Dry SkinRecommendedDec 18, 2024
With a scent reminiscent of Maison Margiela's Lazy Sunday Morning, this body emulsion can envelop your entire body in a moisturizing embrace. It performs its role as a body emulsion perfectly while also having a delightful fragrance, which really lifts my mood! After a shower, when I lie down in bed, the subtle scent rising from my skin helps me drift off to sleep comfortably. As someone who enjoys having a pleasant scent on my body, I've noticed that the fragrance of this product lasts significantly longer than other regular body emulsions. (Though not as long-lasting as perfumes or body mists) It contains many ingredients that require caution and comes with a hefty price tag. I tried the Maison Margiela 'Lazy Sunday Morning' shower gel in summer, and I was impressed by its rich lather and the way its somewhat heavy scent filled the air. The non-drying finish left my skin feeling comfortable without any tightness. As for the Sunday Morning body emulsion, I've been using it as the weather gets cooler, and the fragrance feels perfect for this season. The shea butter locks in moisture, leaving my skin feeling soft and firm after showering when it could otherwise become dry. It really seems to nourish my skin well! I highly recommend it! I haven't found any drawbacks yet. I'll update if I notice any in the future. - jy********Dry SkinRecommendedDec 16, 2023
When you first apply it, the scent seems slightly different, but the lingering fragrance is just the same as the other products in the line. Personally, I find the intensity and longevity of the scent to be best in the hand cream, followed by the perfume, and then this body emulsion. The texture is much thinner than the hand cream. I love how it leaves a subtle, skin-like scent when applied lightly. I usually use unscented body emulsions like Bioderma, so I'm a bit concerned that frequent use of fragranced products might not be ideal for my skin. That's why I tend to use this only when going out or occasionally. I didn't buy it for hydration, so I'm satisfied with what it offers. The price is quite steep. However, since it has better longevity than the perfume, it might actually be preferable to use this emulsion instead...
