It seems pretty good at first, but when I look at it after some time, the staying power doesn't seem to be all that great. I spend a lot of time outdoors, so longevity is important to me. I don't think I'll be repurchasing this. - le*********Normal SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesInner DrynessEnlarged PoresRednessDead Skin CellsRecommendedJan 29, 2025
Coverage: ★★★★☆ Adherence: ★★★★★ Scent: ★★★☆☆ Color: ★★★★★ Darkening: ★★★★★ Longevity: ★★★★★ The coverage isn't bad. For deep acne scars, I needed to use concealer, but it covers light blemishes and redness well. It adheres excellently to the skin. So well that you definitely need to double cleanse. In winter, if you don't moisturize well, it might lift a bit on the cheeks. Still, the adherence is great, just focus on hydration in winter. The scent isn't overpowering, but it's not great. It smells a bit like sponges or a factory. I was worried about the color match, but it suited me well even though my body is shade 17 and my face is 21. There's almost no yellow undertone, which I liked (Neutral deep undertone, light to autumn soft). The color is natural, so I'd recommend it if you like a natural skin makeup look. There was hardly any darkening. Only the oilier nose area needed touch-ups, but there wasn't much difference between right after application and when darkening usually occurs. It doesn't break down badly and looks pretty nice. The makeup just fades slightly, becoming a bit lighter. Plus, I loved that the Inner Glow was maintained even after applying makeup. In winter, it might lift if you don't focus on moisturizing. It has a pink undertone, so not recommended for very warm-toned skin. The scent is unpleasant. Smells like sponges or a factory. Apply thinly with a spatula and blend with a puff for best results. How to achieve an Inner Glow makeup look: First, determine if Inner Glow makeup suits you. Glowy Makeup vs Matte Makeup • Relatively flat face vs Face with more dimension • Face with fewer contours vs Face with more contours • Bright image vs Neat image • Dry to combination skin vs Oily to acne-prone skin (Better longevity and coverage) Inner Glow Makeup Tips: (I have combination skin leaning towards oily) 1) Hydrate well. Use a hydrating mask for about 10 minutes 2) Use a glowy cushion or foundation 3) Lightly powder everywhere except where you want glow Additional tips: • Use a radiance balm on areas where you want extra glow. Recommend Hince radiance balm (less likely to disturb base makeup) Highlighters work well too. • When using blush, apply radiance balm after blush Amuse Lip & Cheek Healthy Balm is great. It's a blush that gives a dewy, Inner Glow-like finish. - zl*********Oily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRednessDead Skin CellsRecommendedJan 6, 2025
I have combination dehydrated skin that's super sensitive, prone to blemishes, and has visible pores. First off, I love how smoothly and thinly it applies, leaving a pleasantly silky finish. It felt hydrating and fresh, and when I layered foundation over it (using a Clio cushion puff), my makeup looked even more beautiful! While it's not extremely high coverage, I bought it for the ingredients, so I'm satisfied with the level of coverage. Applying 2-3 thin layers was enough to make any imperfections less noticeable. It does transfer a bit if rubbed, but if you're careful not to touch your face, the staying power is pretty decent. I didn't have any major complaints. As you'd expect, if you skimp on skincare and apply it to dry skin, it can pill and be hard to salvage. I recommend doing a thorough skincare routine and applying sunscreen before using this product for the best results! - ji*****Combination SkinRecommendedJan 2, 2025
It absorbs well and feels moisturizing. I'd highly recommend it for this aspect. For those with many blackheads, you might notice some clumping around the pores. - HJ****Oily SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsEnlarged PoresRecommendedDec 1, 2024
After using cushion foundations, this is my first liquid foundation and I think I'll stick with it. It's gentle, doesn't cake, and has great staying power. There are honestly no downsides. If I had to nitpick, I'd say the shade 21 is slightly lighter than expected, but that actually works well for me. Go ahead and use a spatula to apply, but honestly, you don't even need one - it doesn't cake up either way. - we*******Combination SkinSensitive SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRednessRecommendedNov 16, 2024
This foundation is a hidden champion in its category! It doesn't cause blemishes, isn't drying, has a beautiful color, and most importantly, it wears off gracefully! I bought this product on a whim since the ingredients seemed good, even though I hadn't heard many positive reviews. Now I think I'll be sticking with it for life! In summer, powder is necessary, and I have some texture so I tend to use powder except in very dry winters. But if you have smooth skin, this level of oil and moisture balance will make your complexion look even better. It has an ivory tone that's great for redness. The case is minimalist and pretty, and quite sturdy too! There are honestly no downsides... It's the perfect foundation for me. However, it might not suit those with extremely oily skin. Layering improves coverage! The photo shows it applied on my cheeks with shade 21 skin tone and redness. - iz*****Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinOct 30, 2024
True to its name 'Fitting', it sets instantly upon application Unfortunately, it caused severe blemishes on my skin and left it feeling dry - ec*****Dehydrated SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsInner DrynessEnlarged PoresRecommendedOct 24, 2024
I bought this because my previous Innisfree foundation was discontinued. I used to use 21C Cool Vanilla, and comparing them, the color is similar and it doesn't look too different from my skin tone when applied, which is great. I'm pleased that the ingredients are said to be even better than what I used before. It provides good coverage. I was also happy to see the expiration date is until 2027. There are no drawbacks as it's similar to the shade 21 I used before. - ha*******Combination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedOct 14, 2024
After consistently using other products, I decided to purchase this one again after a long time! First off, I love that it's gentle, as expected from the trustworthy Innisfree. It's always a brand I can rely on without worrying about blemishes! I used to use Innisfree foundation a lot when I was younger, and remembering how good it was back then, I bought it without hesitation this time too. The adherence is great, sticking to the skin without any patchiness. Interestingly, the day after using this foundation, someone commented that my complexion looked even better! It might be a coincidence, but I was pleasantly surprised and satisfied. After using products from other brands for several years, I tried Innisfree foundation again after a long time... but there's some darkening. It's a drawback I didn't notice with my previous product. This one's quite noticeable, unfortunately. This might be a matter of preference, but Innisfree foundation is extremely runny! It has a very liquid consistency. Having used thicker foundations for 5-6 years, using a runny one felt awkward. At first, it came out too quickly, which was surprising, and it was difficult to control the amount. Overall, it's still a satisfying foundation! While it may not be the best, it's a good product to use as a backup or for casual wear at an affordable price. For me, I've found a perfect match for my main foundation, so this feels more like a product I might repurchase in a few years if I think of it again. It works hard for its price point! - sj***Oily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedOct 9, 2024
My contact dermatitis was so severe I couldn't wear any makeup, but now thanks to Innisfree's Fitting Foundation, it's possible! It's a bit disappointing that it can be drying. However, it's fine if you apply a good moisturizer underneath.
