My skin is super sensitive, so I can't use just anything. Previously, I couldn't use certain brands, but I stumbled upon this product while buying something else for my eye wrinkles after seeing an Instagram ad. This toner has been a godsend, calming down my blemishes and fading spots caused by adult acne. It's not a watery toner, but has a slight viscosity. On days when my skin feels rich, I can use this alone without needing a cream or emulsion! The bottle is generous, so you can use it liberally for a long time. I'm almost out and planning to repurchase! There's nothing I particularly dislike about it. I'm really enjoying using it. If I had to mention something, the packaging might be inconvenient for some, but it didn't bother me. - gi*******Combination SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRecommendedApr 28, 2025
I've been using this product since late January, so it's been about 3 months now as we're approaching the end of April. As you can see, it's a toner with an essence-like consistency and good viscosity. It's quite moisturizing and hydrating. I used it during the transition from winter to spring, which is typically a time of significant temperature fluctuations and increased skin dryness. Although I have combination skin, I tend to feel quite dry, so I appreciated this toner's adequate hydration. I really dislike sticky products, and while this toner has a rich, moisturizing texture, it absorbs well without feeling sticky. Because of this, I found it more convenient to apply directly with my hands rather than using a cotton pad. As mentioned on the packaging, it's designed for melanin care, so I was hoping it might help with dark spots or blemishes. While I didn't notice any dramatic changes, I did feel like my complexion became more even overall. The price point is in the early to mid-20,000 won range, which might seem a bit ambiguous for a toner. However, considering it's a functional product with an essence-like texture and a generous 300ml size, it's actually quite affordable. The photo shows how much I've used in about 3 months, so it should easily last a year. Throughout my use, I didn't experience any irritation or blemishes, suggesting it has gentle ingredients. For these reasons, I'd recommend it. I was hoping for more noticeable results in terms of pigmentation care, but the effects were somewhat subtle. - gg********Dehydrated SkinSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessEnlarged PoresApr 21, 2025
It feels more hydrating than a pure water toner. Other than that, I can't say there's anything particularly special about it. I didn't notice any improvement in blemishes or other functional aspects as claimed. Compared to the advertising, the product seems quite ordinary. When used as the first step after cleansing, there's a slight musty smell, almost like cigarettes? The texture is sticky and absorbs slowly. I've tried other essence-like toners that sink in quickly after a few rolls, but this one feels a bit slippery, so I don't reach for it when I'm in a rush in the morning. I've just been applying it to my chest area. - 22***Combination SkinSensitive SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsDark CirclesInner DrynessRecommendedMar 31, 2025
I really like the runny texture of this toner. It seems to help calm my blemishes a bit, which is great. Since it's from a high-end brand, it can be a bit pricey when there aren't many sales. That can make it a bit hard on the wallet. - cb*****Dehydrated SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessEnlarged PoresRecommendedMar 21, 2025
I've been super stressed about acne and red scars on my jawline, but after seeing an ad on Instagram, I bought this and used it for over a month. I applied it right after cleansing and toning. The texture is closer to a thin serum than a regular water-based toner, which I personally liked. It absorbs slower than typical toners, but in a good way. I didn't feel dry while walking to my room after application, and even when I applied an ampoule later, my skin still felt hydrated. Plus, the amount is incredibly generous - it feels like it never runs out! I've only used about 1/5 of it so far. The container isn't a pump type, so you have to open the cap to dispense the product, which made controlling the amount a bit tricky, but it wasn't a major inconvenience. Personally, the slow absorption could be inconvenient when I'm in a hurry. I used it along with a blemish cleanser and other skincare products, but I didn't notice any dramatically visible effects... - ho************Normal SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinAtopic SkinRecommendedMar 1, 2025
My acne scars have improved so much! I highly recommend this! There are no downsides! Worried about acne scars? You absolutely must buy this! - hi******Oily SkinAcne SkinFeb 28, 2025
I've had great experiences with other Dr. Melacin products, so I decided to try this one too. It's a decent toner with a nice viscosity. The essence-like texture makes it perfect for keeping skin hydrated during winter. Unfortunately, it doesn't seem to have made much difference when it comes to helping with blemish scars. - wk********Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsRednessRecommendedFeb 15, 2025
I have oily, acne-prone skin and I'm on my second bottle. This toner doesn't irritate my skin much, and it has a sticky yet flowing texture. If you're only looking for hydration, you might find it a bit lacking. However, despite its stickiness, it doesn't feel heavy or suffocating. Once applied and absorbed, it sinks in quickly, so I'm using it quite happily. Due to the product's nature, it has a slightly sticky feel. When layered multiple times before makeup, it can cause some pilling, which is a bit disappointing. However, if applied moderately, it provides a nice moisturizing effect. - uk****Dry SkinSensitive SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRednessDead Skin CellsRecommendedJan 24, 2025
The scent is absolutely delightful, and I love that its slightly runny texture means I don't need to use cotton pads. After application, my skin feels somewhere between bouncy and velvety smooth. It's more of a plump feeling rather than just moisturized. I can't really comment on any drawbacks yet... I haven't been using it long enough to notice any cons. - a_******Dry SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRednessDead Skin CellsRecommendedJan 17, 2025
Here's my genuine review after using two bottles over 6 months! First off, it's great value for the amount you get. While it's hard to notice significant fading of blemishes unless you use the entire Exosome line, this toner is wonderfully hydrating and works well as a first step in your skincare routine! Although it's marketed as a blemish-fading toner, I didn't really notice the Exosome effects.
