  Pros

  I was super excited to try this cleanser after hearing it was recommended for combination dehydrated skin as a morning cleanser. The cleansing experience leaves your skin feeling squeaky clean, and the charcoal particles are quite large, providing a bit of a scrubbing effect. It definitely helps control oil, so if you have oily skin, this could be perfect for removing excess sebum before applying makeup.

  Cons

  However, I think my expectations might have been too high! Despite its reputation, it's not something I'd repurchase. While it cleanses thoroughly, my skin felt dry pretty quickly after washing. Also, those large particles? They felt a bit harsh on my skin. Unlike the Black Angel Fresh Cleanser, which worked wonders on my blackheads, this one didn't do much for my pores. I was hoping for a daily blackhead-fighting routine, but no such luck. I wouldn't call it a gentle cleanser either. Even when I used it alone in the morning, applying any skincare with niacinamide afterwards made my skin sting. It might be a bit too strong for morning use. If you have sensitive skin, you might want to think twice about this one!
