This palette is truly perfect for those with cool winter undertones. It's not suitable for warm summer tones - it's really a winter-exclusive palette. The staying power is impressive, there's minimal excess powder, and the color payoff is excellent! The only downside is that it broke while just sitting in my bag, which was disappointing. Other than that, no complaints! - dl********Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRednessDead Skin CellsRecommendedJun 8, 2025
After hesitating for a while, I finally decided to bring this palette home as soon as I saw it. It's a winter cool-tone bright eyeshadow palette. First off, I was really impressed by the color payoff. The shades are clear and transparent, yet they have a definite presence. Just one swipe is enough to get vibrant color. What's more remarkable is that the colors don't become muddy even after multiple applications! The shimmer is truly the highlight of this palette. The fine, transparent glitter particles beautifully brighten up the eyes, creating a gorgeous effect. I was very satisfied with how they sparkle cleanly without feeling chunky or dull. The color composition is also excellently curated. Without any murky shades, the overall palette is vivid and harmonious. From base to accent colors, every shade is usable, making it a versatile choice for daily makeup with no wasted colors. Due to the ultra-soft texture, the matte shades tend to have some excess when applying with a brush, even with light pressure. Using fingers or a sponge-tip applicator provides more stability and reduces fallout. I've come to prefer applying base colors with my fingers for this reason. While the staying power is generally satisfactory, for the eye area, you might need to enhance the adherence. To make it last longer, it's best to control oil with powder first. I usually lightly pat down any oiliness before applying shadow. I noticed that the shimmery shades, in particular, maintain their beauty for longer this way. I wouldn't recommend relying solely on the base shade in the palette to control oil - use a translucent powder instead. For shimmer shadows, I highly recommend applying them by gently patting with your fingertips. This method provides much better adherence than a brush and makes the shimmer more pronounced. I found it effective to apply the shadow broadly on the eyelid with fingers, then use a brush to add a subtle accent to the outer corner. This technique defines the eyes without being overwhelming! - re*****Oily SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedMay 17, 2025
While minimizing powder dispersal, the color payoff is neither too vivid nor too faint, achieving the optimal color tone. The combination of various pinks and slightly muted shadow colors is highly satisfactory. The glitter formulation's pigmentation was somewhat weak, which was disappointing compared to the expected Hwahae-like effect. - ct********Combination SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsEnlarged PoresRecommendedFeb 28, 2025
The color payoff was fantastic. The second shade from the left in the second row looked like it might be warm-toned, but I was pleasantly surprised that it didn't lean too warm. The shimmers were a bit on the flashy side, with quite a lot of sparkle. - d8********Combination SkinSensitive SkinDark CirclesDead Skin CellsRecommendedJan 10, 2025
The color payoff is excellent for all Wake Make palettes, especially the high-saturation line which seems to perform even better! As a winter cool tone, I absolutely adore vibrant pinks and I'll use them until they're completely panned. There's a bit of excess powder fallout, particularly with the darkest shade. I loved how using the deepest brown color for the lower lash line gives an immediate, noticeable effect due to its great pigmentation. When applying to the eyelids, make sure to tap off excess product to control the amount you're using. - do*******Dehydrated SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessRecommendedDec 22, 2024
I love how vibrant the colors are! There are many shades I reach for often, making it practical. The staying power is pretty good too. I hardly ever use the black shade. The shimmer shades are slightly disappointing in terms of pigmentation and how they apply. - oh****Combination SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRecommendedDec 1, 2024
The color range is diverse and beautiful! With light pink base shades, accent colors, glitters, and even brown tones, this 16-color palette offers great versatility. It's perfect for cool winter types who look good in bright, high-saturation colors! The eyeshadows have a lot of white undertones, which might be challenging for deep or dark cool winter types to use. Don't just buy it because you're a cool winter type. Make sure you know if eyeshadows with white undertones suit you well before making a purchase! - m6********Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesInner DrynessEnlarged PoresDead Skin CellsRecommendedOct 13, 2024
1. This is my holy grail palette 2. Perfect for cool-toned pinks 3. I use it as a blush too 4. It doubles as a highlighter 5. It's an all-in-one wonder 6. The pigmentation? Unbelievable! There are no downsides. It's truly my ride-or-die. I can't function without it. My absolute love! Great for highlighter, blush, and aegyo-sal (under-eye aegyo). It's so versatile! - al**********Normal SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsEnlarged PoresRecommendedSep 23, 2024
The color payoff is excellent. It has great staying power. The shimmer is subtle and beautiful. It suits winter cool-toned bright complexions well. The variety of colors makes it great for creating different makeup looks. You need to be careful when opening it. If you open it too quickly, you might accidentally nick it with your fingernail. It would have been nice if it came with a mirror. It would be helpful if the back of the packaging suggested where to apply each color for the best effect. - ce****Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinSep 14, 2024
There's a wide range of colors, and at first glance, they seem fairly harmonious. I suppose someone with the right complexion could make good use of this. However, if you're a cool summer or a cool winter, you might want to buy this. But if you're a cool winter leaning towards neutral, avoid it. It's much more fluorescent pink than you'd expect. The colors I thought were gray are all too muted and have pink undertones, making it extremely difficult to match and use. It's impossible to tone down the colors, resulting in a very, very pink makeup look. There's a lot of excess powder. The grayish tones don't adhere well but rather sit on top of the skin. The staying power is very poor. The color payoff is different from what I expected. Make sure to test it offline before buying, as the colors look quite different in person. Usually, you can see which colors to combine for the day, but with this, I'm still not sure how to mix and match. When I think I've found a good combination and apply it, the result is disappointing. The colors seem to float on the skin.
