I love that it's not in a typical tube but in a solid form, so you can just keep using it while also being environmentally conscious. After using it, my hair texture improved, and since it contains fewer chemicals compared to regular conditioners, I'm continuing to use it. It doesn't lather as much as regular soap, and you need to keep dissolving it in warm water, which can be a bit challenging. - wl*******Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedFeb 18, 2025
I'm trying to reduce plastic use bit by bit, and I've had great experiences with Donggubat's treatment bar, shampoo bar, and dish soap, so I bought this with confidence. Application: No need for a separate foam net. It glides smoothly on wet hair, just like combing through it. Scent: One unexpected perk of using bar soap is that you don't need a separate bathroom air freshener! The fragrance is soft and fresh - likely to please everyone. Effectiveness: I've used their treatment bar before and tried many famous treatment products, but for my frizzy, thin, curly hair, this is honestly the best! I bought it thinking it would be lighter than a treatment, not expecting much, but it turns out this rinse really works for me... Anyway, it calms my hair and makes it so soft that I can't stop touching it! There's nothing particularly bad to mention! Maybe just that it might feel a bit awkward at first if you're not used to using bar soap...? - ce*****Oily SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedOct 24, 2024
The scent is subtle and quite nice! I'm fairly satisfied with it. Still considering whether to repurchase. When I left it in the bathroom, it seemed to melt away quickly... I think it might not last very long. - eu*****Dry SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRecommendedMay 31, 2024
I used this conditioner bar after shampooing. After running it through my hair ends a few times, my hair quickly became soft and smooth. However, once rinsed out, my hair quickly becomes stiff again. Using a hair essence afterwards is absolutely necessary! - wh*********Dehydrated SkinInner DrynessEnlarged PoresDead Skin CellsRecommendedApr 24, 2024
I switched to a solid conditioner bar because liquid ones take up too much space and it's a hassle to dispose of empty bottles. I keep it on the soap dish attached to my shower, which is super convenient. After shampooing, I rub it on my wet hair, gently massaging it in, and then rinse. It leaves my hair feeling soft and smooth. (I have an oily scalp, so I'm careful not to apply conditioner or treatments directly to my scalp.) While it might not give you that silky seaweed texture like some popular liquid conditioners, its compact size is a space-saver and the softening effect is good enough for me. What I love most is that unlike liquid conditioners where you struggle to get the last bits out, with this bar, when it gets soft and starts breaking apart, you can just press it onto a new bar, let it dry, and you're good to go. So convenient! The parts that frequently come into contact with water tend to wear down quickly. I'd recommend storing it in a well-drained area to prevent this. If you feel the conditioner bar alone isn't quite enough, try using a hair treatment before the bar or apply a hair essence before blow-drying. This can really help improve your hair's texture and overall health. - yu*****Combination SkinRecommendedMar 31, 2024
It's solid and doesn't soften easily, making it great for long-term use. You can quickly apply it by rubbing it directly on your head. The bar form itself is a big plus. It's also easy to dispose of when you're done. Like the treatment bar, it's softest when rinsing, but becomes dry after drying. It definitely lacks the softness and shine you get with regular store-bought conditioners. Also, using this alone barely does the job - you really need to pair it with the treatment bar for a complete wash. - vl*****Oily SkinAcne SkinRecommendedFeb 19, 2024
I was unfamiliar with conditioner bars, but after trying it, I found it wasn't bad at all. It wasn't difficult to use, and it applied more smoothly than I expected, which was nice. The best part was that the conditioner bar clearly lasts longer than a shampoo bar, which is great. Since the conditioner bar is also made in a soap-like form, it feels like it softens quickly. For bleached hair, it didn't seem to have a significant effect. After washing, my hair felt a bit stiff, so I tend to reach for other conditioners. However, it might work well for hair that isn't bleached or dyed and hasn't experienced much damage. - hk******Oily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedDec 12, 2023
It's a soap, but it's surprisingly gentle and nice. When you use this, your hair becomes incredibly soft! However, as expected from a soap, it does dissolve a bit quickly. And I think I might have experienced some blemishes...? But overall, it's still good. - qk*********Combination SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsDead Skin CellsRecommendedOct 13, 2023
As someone with oily hair, I usually avoid rinse treatments and greasy shampoos. But after using this product, my hair felt silky and the oil buildup was delayed! While it's not an extreme silky feeling, I'm very satisfied! Oh, and it's apparently larger than regular shampoo bars. There wasn't anything particularly bad. The scent is subtle, which might disappoint those who prefer stronger fragrances like in commercial products. - sk*********Combination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedOct 3, 2023
I had a hard time finding a conditioner with good ingredients, but this one seemed the best, so I chose it. Being in bar form, it doesn't drip, and it's surprisingly easy to use. I think I'll repurchase it. There wasn't anything particularly bad. It's good as is, but I'd love to see even better ingredients in the future, if possible? For storage, I found it's best to use a magnetic soap holder facing upwards. This keeps it dry, and when I tried placing it downwards, the weight of the bar and its soft texture caused the clip connecting to the magnet to come off.
