After toner, I apply it to my forehead, cheeks, chin, and nose, letting it absorb. It's incredibly effective at hydrating. At night, I follow a routine of toner-serum-aloe-cream-barrier cream, and by morning my skin feels incredibly firm and supple.

This serum feels like it's packed with hydration, to the point where even my oily-skinned friend finds it perfectly moisturizing without being greasy. While it doesn't offer dramatic instant results like immediately solving deep dryness, it's a product where you really notice the difference when you stop using it. That's why I keep repurchasing it.

As soon as I applied it, my face felt hot and turned red, especially around my mouth. I had to stop using it. I thought maybe my skin was just sensitive, so I asked my mom to try it, who never gets blemishes from any cosmetics. After some time, she experienced the same redness and burning sensation around her mouth.

If you're using the Avène line, I recommend using it at night in this order: mist - Eau Thermale emulsion - serum. That seems to work well!

If you use it when your skin is already irritated, it might make things worse. It's best to use this when your blemishes have subsided and your skin has calmed down a bit. While one pump of the dropper is enough for the whole face and it absorbs well, it feels sticky. No matter how much I try to make it absorb (using both beauty devices and hands), it pills when I apply other products on top.

It's a decent product that's easy to use. As someone with super sensitive skin, I exclusively use the Avène line, and this one isn't bad at all.

Yikes, this didn't work for me at all! It's so potent that sometimes just the serum alone is enough. Contrary to my expectation of it just providing hydration, it actually triggered blemishes, unfortunately.
