I've been using this for about 2-3 days because I've had a lot of dead skin cells on my nose lately. It's amazing at replenishing hydration, even better than before. I've noticed it's helping to calm my blemishes too. I haven't really noticed any drawbacks yet, but that might be because I've only used it for a short time. After toner, I apply it to my forehead, cheeks, chin, and nose, letting it absorb. It's incredibly effective at hydrating. At night, I follow a routine of toner-serum-aloe-cream-barrier cream, and by morning my skin feels incredibly firm and supple. - no******Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRednessRecommendedMay 9, 2025
This serum is wonderfully hydrating and moisture-replenishing. Although it's labeled for dry skin, it worked perfectly for my combination dehydrated skin with oily tendencies. I especially recommend using it with a beauty device - it really helps the product absorb deeply, giving you that feeling of nourishment from within. Even with sales, the price for 30ml is on the higher side, which can be a bit burdensome... - gp*****RecommendedMay 6, 2025
It absorbs well and has a nice texture. It feels like a regular serum, but gentler. It's not heavy on the skin at all. I bought it because it claimed to help with dark spots, but I can't really tell if it's making any difference. I'm planning to look for a different product. - sz********Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityDead Skin CellsApr 29, 2025
I have combination skin, and I think this absorbs well! I thought it would be really hydrating, but my skin feels tight right after applying it... - tj*****Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsDark CirclesInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRecommendedApr 9, 2025
As someone with combination dehydrated skin, this product makes my face feel soft and absorbs well. With consistent use, I can feel my complexion becoming brighter! I love layering lightweight products, and this one is perfect - not too watery, just right! The volume is small and it's a bit pricey. While the effects are good, it's somewhat burdensome to purchase frequently. - 62******Dry SkinSensitive SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRecommendedMar 11, 2025
This serum feels like it's packed with hydration, to the point where even my oily-skinned friend finds it perfectly moisturizing without being greasy. While it doesn't offer dramatic instant results like immediately solving deep dryness, it's a product where you really notice the difference when you stop using it. That's why I keep repurchasing it. It's a bit disappointing how quickly you go through the bottle due to its small size. However, the official site often has sales, so I stock up at discounted prices. I especially recommend this for summer rather than winter! It's great for hydrating your skin before makeup without any oiliness, leaving your complexion perfectly moisturized! - dm************Combination SkinSensitive SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessEnlarged PoresDead Skin CellsMar 6, 2025
I have combination skin, and this product feels moisturizing with a slightly tacky texture. As soon as I applied it, my face felt hot and turned red, especially around my mouth. I had to stop using it. I thought maybe my skin was just sensitive, so I asked my mom to try it, who never gets blemishes from any cosmetics. After some time, she experienced the same redness and burning sensation around her mouth. - na********Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessEnlarged PoresRednessDead Skin CellsFeb 25, 2025
It's a decent product that's easy to use. As someone with super sensitive skin, I exclusively use the Avène line, and this one isn't bad at all. If you use it when your skin is already irritated, it might make things worse. It's best to use this when your blemishes have subsided and your skin has calmed down a bit. While one pump of the dropper is enough for the whole face and it absorbs well, it feels sticky. No matter how much I try to make it absorb (using both beauty devices and hands), it pills when I apply other products on top. If you're using the Avène line, I recommend using it at night in this order: mist - Eau Thermale emulsion - serum. That seems to work well! - wl*********Dry SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinFeb 16, 2025
I bought this expecting it to be good due to its simple ingredient list. For some reason, when I use it, I get redness, a tingling sensation, and even pustular acne appears. I'm not sure which ingredient is causing this. - od*****Dry SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinAtopic SkinFeb 16, 2025
It absorbs quickly when applied. Even in a humid bathroom after a shower, it gets absorbed rapidly. I could feel the hydration immediately upon application. Yikes, this didn't work for me at all! It's so potent that sometimes just the serum alone is enough. Contrary to my expectation of it just providing hydration, it actually triggered blemishes, unfortunately.
