  1. No blemishes after use The most important thing is that I didn't get any small bumps the day after using it, which was great. 2. No darkening effect when used alone There were mixed reviews about darkening, but personally, I didn't notice any. As a fair-skinned guy who's often told I'm pale, my skin looked relatively bright and stayed that way until evening. 3. Coverage I usually just use mineral sunscreen for a slightly brighter look, but this skin-perfecting cream definitely makes my skin look better. It covers pores to some extent, and even on an exhausting day, people said my complexion looked good. (Note: Keep in mind that I usually only wear sunscreen. Those who typically use more coverage might have different opinions.) 4. Easy application I applied it roughly with my hands like a regular cream, and it went on smoothly while still providing the coverage mentioned above. 5. Long-lasting Despite sweating quite a bit throughout the day, it didn't leave any noticeable sweat marks or patches.

  Cons

  1. Lower SPF compared to sunscreen This wouldn't be a concern in spring, fall, or winter, but with the recent extreme weather and sunburn warnings, it's a bit worrying... Yet it's too bothersome to apply sunscreen on top of this. (2. Moisturizing Even though I have oily skin, it maintains well and the slight shine actually makes my skin look better, but this might be a matter of personal preference.)

  It seems to work well as a sunscreen alternative when used alone, without mixing, and doesn't irritate the skin.

  Oh my goodness, this BB cream is absolutely incredible! I could never use BB creams before because they always emphasized my dead skin cells and got stuck in my pores. But this one applies just like sunscreen! The color is amazingly natural, making my skin look truly beautiful. I'm honestly overwhelmed with emotion right now. It's so good that all I can say is 'I love it, I love it!' That's all I can manage to express at the moment...

  Of course, being a natural and moisturizing BB cream, it doesn't provide any coverage for blemishes, and pore coverage is... well, it's there, sort of. It doesn't seem to cause darkening, but it does come off easily, and after wearing it for a while, oil starts to surface.   When I first squeezed it out, I thought the color looked a bit dark, but once I applied it, it brightened up and became a natural shade. Those with shade 21 can use it for a natural tone, while those with shade 23 can achieve a slight brightening effect without looking ashy. Ingredient-wise, it doesn't seem to contain any pore-clogging components, so I felt safe using it. Perhaps that's why I didn't experience any blemishes. The tube design with its elongated nozzle allowed for clean and easy application. It's great for controlling the amount and easy to manage. I prefer a dewy skin look over full coverage, and this product provided moderate coverage while giving my skin a subtle glow. It even concealed some texture, but I found it particularly effective at covering redness.

  It feels moisturizing due to its oil content, and the SPF is slightly lower than what I usually use, so I think it might be more suitable for winter rather than summer.   I used to use BB cream a long time ago before switching to foundation. Recently, I discovered Freshly Crystal Vegan BB Cream when I decided to try BB cream again. The adherence is excellent and it absorbs beautifully. It leaves my face with a soft, moisturized glow. I think it provides good coverage too!

  Cons

  Personally, I found the fragrance to be quite strong, which I didn't like. However, it's only noticeable during application and doesn't linger afterwards. Also, due to its glowy finish, it might look a bit too shiny for combination dehydrated skin during summer.

  Tip

  For summer, it might be a good idea to set the BB cream with some powder!

  I'm currently using two types of sunscreen: 1. On days I use a hydrating, emulsion-type sunscreen: My skin looks healthy with a glow, but as I have combination skin, by afternoon the oil and shine can become a bit bothersome. I use blotting paper to manage this. 2. On days I use a slightly matte, oil-controlling sunscreen: Right after application, you might feel the glow is a bit lacking for a 'radiance BB cream', but as time passes and it mixes with your skin's natural oils, a subtle glow develops. I find my skin looks better as the day goes on! If you use powder, this won't be an issue, but since I don't use powder, I control oil with my choice of sunscreen!
