With two applications, it conceals most blemishes and redness. The product also absorbs well into the skin.
ConsThe only slight drawback might be that it transfers easily, but that's pretty common for most BB creams, so I can't really complain.

It covers pores naturally, which I'm really happy with. I also like that the scent is very mild, almost unnoticeable. I was initially worried because shade 21 usually looks off on my skin, but surprisingly, this BB cream actually evens skin tone without darkening, making my complexion look brighter and more radiant.
ConsIt's a bit disappointing that it transfers. You'll need to be careful about it rubbing off on your mask or shirt neckline.

My skin is super sensitive, so I often break out if I use the wrong product, but I felt safe using this due to its good ingredients. The texture is moisturizing, which should be perfect for those with dry skin. It applies smoothly thanks to its hydrating formula. It has a cosmetic scent, not any specific fragrance, but the kind you'd expect from skincare products. With its UV protection, brightening, and anti-wrinkle properties, it's like an all-in-one solution when you don't feel like applying sunscreen or doing a full face of makeup. The sun protection isn't super high, so it's more suitable for daily, light makeup rather than full coverage. It provides natural coverage, enough to even out your complexion and cover redness, rather than concealing blemishes or giving full coverage. The pointed tip of the container makes it easy to control how much product you use.
ConsAs someone with oily skin who prefers semi-matte formulas, this wasn't ideal for me. Due to its moisturizing texture, it leaves a slight residue when blotted with a tissue. Understandably, the coverage isn't as perfect as a foundation. While the scent wasn't off-putting to me, those sensitive to fragrances should take note.
TipI'd recommend this more for dry skin types than oily. It's great for those times when you can't be bothered with a full face of makeup but still want to even out your complexion and cover some redness.

My skin tends to be a bit yellowish, and when I applied this, it noticeably brightened my complexion. It's not sticky at all, and when applied, it gives a subtle glow without causing any blemishes. As someone who doesn't usually wear makeup, I'd recommend this to those who need occasional light coverage. It creates a natural 'no-makeup' makeup look. The texture isn't stiff but applies smoothly, which I liked. The coverage isn't non-existent, but it's not heavy either (it's somewhere in between). If you have yellowish skin like mine, make sure to blend it down to your neck when applying. Otherwise, you might end up looking like a ghost with just a white face! The photo of me wearing it is unedited.
ConsThe staying power isn't particularly impressive. When wearing a mask, most of it transfers off. Those who prioritize long-lasting coverage might want to skip this one.
TipThis product requires thorough cleansing. Otherwise, you might notice some residue. I'd recommend applying a smaller amount on the forehead area.

My natural skin tone is quite fair, around shade 19, but my face appears darker due to redness. In fact, I was recommended shade 21 in a color match! Keep this in mind as you read my review. Due to my uneven redness, I always wear base makeup for coverage. However, my dry skin causes small bumps and dead skin cells to become more noticeable when I apply thicker layers - it's a real struggle! Recently, I tried professional makeup for the first time and fell in love with the BB cream they used. I'll compare it to other BB products I've purchased. Brightness: When swatched on the back of my hand, the order from lightest to darkest is Cell Fusion C, Freshly (01), then Erborian (Super BB Nude). Interestingly, when applied to the face, Freshly gives the most radiant and brightening effect. It looks more luminous than Cell Fusion C, so I highly recommend it to those who find BB creams too dull! For those with shade 21 and redness, Freshly BB alone should be sufficient. When I mixed it 50/50 with Hera Black Cushion (renewed version in 21N), Hera appeared more yellow and darker. Hydration: Don't we all love that rich hydration unique to BB creams, something you can't get from foundations? Cell Fusion C feels similar to a foundation in terms of hydration, while Freshly and Erborian both have that signature rich, moisturizing feel. If you're worried about your base makeup separating, these are perfect for smoothing over dead skin cells and keeping everything in place.
ConsTransfer: As expected from a hydrating BB cream, it does transfer a bit more than a typical foundation. You might notice some product on your phone after a call. However, it adheres well to the skin, so even with transfer, your base doesn't completely disappear. I didn't mind it, but if you wear a mask after applying makeup, this might not be ideal. For summer, setting with powder would help significantly. Potentially Dark for Fair Skin: If you have very fair skin (lighter than shade 19) without redness, the Freshly BB might appear dark. In that case, I'd suggest mixing it with a lighter foundation.
TipFor those intrigued by BB creams but hesitant due to their often dull or dark appearance, I highly recommend Freshly 01 Light Beige! It's the brightest and clearest tone among the BB creams I've tried. You can use it without mixing with a lighter foundation. It would be great if they could release an even lighter shade in the future!
