While it's true that oil dissolves oil, I've never experienced such a refreshing finish with other cleansing oils. When I first start massaging it in, I feel a slight warmth, which gives me the sensation that it's really working to draw out impurities from my pores.
ConsThe jar-style packaging is a bit of a drawback, as the area around the opening tends to get quite oily. A pump dispenser would be a more convenient option.
TipFor those days when you're wearing heavy makeup, try using this with a facial cleansing brush or sonic cleansing device. It works wonders, leaving your skin feeling clean and fresh, no matter how much makeup you've applied.

But as I used it, I fell in love with it. The warm sensation makes me feel like it's really melting away sebum and opening up my pores to effectively remove impurities. It's great at removing makeup, and I have no complaints about its cleansing power or emulsification - it's perfect in every way! These days there are many cost-effective cleansing oils available, so I'm not sure if I'll repurchase. I've been using a light, water-like formula from another brand, but I tried this one as part of a YouTuber's bundle deal with a pore-minimizing ampoule and cica cream. It's quite good, and I think I'll remember it fondly! For now, I'll finish my current oil, but I'll definitely consider this one again. The price is reasonable when purchased during sales or promotions!
ConsThe only downside is that since it's a shake-before-use product, it seems to separate even in the pump. The first squeeze always dispenses the separated product. But it doesn't really affect its performance... Come to think of it, I guess it's not even a real drawback.
TipI just wanted to share this personally... Since plastic cosmetic containers often don't get recycled properly even when sorted, if you clean them well and take them to Olive Young, you can get a 2000 won coupon and help save the planet! Please join in, everyone! Adding to this because someone read my tip: Olive Young accepts all plastic products, not just their own brands! That's really great. The app says all Olive Young stores accept them, but some store owners might not due to inconvenience. It might help to call ahead! After submitting, you need to get verification. In the Olive Young app, go to Home > Events > scroll down to find the 'Olive Young Beauty Cycle' banner!! Submit there and show it to them. The banner has more details on which products are accepted. They take all kinds of plastic, so I even cut open toothpaste tubes, use them for washing machine cleaning, then recycle them! They also accept sample-sized cosmetics, so I cut them open, use every last bit with cotton swabs, clean them thoroughly, and recycle them! It's an easy way for everyone to consider the environment, so don't overthink it - try recycling even one item!
