As someone with combination dehydrated skin that tends to be oily, I've found this cleansing oil to be a game-changer. While it's true that oil dissolves oil, I've never experienced such a refreshing finish with other cleansing oils. When I first start massaging it in, I feel a slight warmth, which gives me the sensation that it's really working to draw out impurities from my pores. The jar-style packaging is a bit of a drawback, as the area around the opening tends to get quite oily. A pump dispenser would be a more convenient option. For those days when you're wearing heavy makeup, try using this with a facial cleansing brush or sonic cleansing device. It works wonders, leaving your skin feeling clean and fresh, no matter how much makeup you've applied. - gm*********Dry SkinSensitive SkinAtopic SkinInner DrynessRecommendedApr 14, 2025
Ever since I started using the Pibumi Serum Emulsion, I've been exclusively sticking to Pibumi products! You might feel a slight warming sensation before wetting your face, but I've heard it actually helps refine blackheads! The warming sensation might be a bit challenging for those with sensitive skin. - wh*********Normal SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRednessDead Skin CellsRecommendedApr 3, 2025
It feels like a warm compress! Recommended for all skin types, from dry to oily. Perfect for winter use. The opening seems to break easily. Be careful not to get it in your eyes! After rolling it over your entire face, remove your eye makeup last, then rinse immediately! - vk*****Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinMar 2, 2025
Removes makeup effectively Emulsifies well Leaves skin feeling moisturized after cleansing The bean-like scent was off-putting for me The lid isn't a pump dispenser - ju*********Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRednessDead Skin CellsRecommendedFeb 24, 2025
This is my third bottle of this product that I've been consistently using since last year. It seems to cleanse effectively without the need for vigorous rubbing. After washing, there's no feeling of residue left on my face, and it's gentle enough to use without causing irritation. There's a slight warming sensation when using it, but it doesn't cause significant discomfort. - ga**********Oily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsEnlarged PoresRednessDead Skin CellsRecommendedOct 24, 2024
I'm on my second bottle of this, and it's so effective that using it alone as a first cleanse removes most makeup. It's so thorough that you might not even need a foam cleanser afterwards - it leaves no oily residue. As someone with oily, sensitive skin, I find it incredibly gentle yet effective at drawing out sebum. I've even noticed a reduction in blackheads since I started using it. I'm definitely planning to stock up again during the next sale! However, I wouldn't recommend this for those with dry skin. While it's great for sebum and blackheads, it didn't do anything for dead skin cells. Also, because it works by slightly opening the pores to extract sebum, you might experience a warming sensation. Make sure to follow up with a pad or something cooling after cleansing! By the way, the Pibumi Pore Serum that comes with it is pretty good too, so give that a try as well! For best results, apply generously to cheeks, nose, forehead, and chin. Massage for about a minute, then dampen with warm water and continue massaging thoroughly. Rinse with warm water until the water runs clear. If you have oily skin or prefer a deeper cleanse, follow up with a second cleanse! - wl*******Oily SkinSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessEnlarged PoresDead Skin CellsRecommendedAug 15, 2024
I love that it has a heating function, which works wonders for managing blackheads A bit of product leaks out when you shake it to mix the contents - su********Dehydrated SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsRecommendedAug 13, 2024
As someone who prefers lightweight cleansing oils, my first impression was 'Wow, this is too heavy!' But as I used it, I fell in love with it. The warm sensation makes me feel like it's really melting away sebum and opening up my pores to effectively remove impurities. It's great at removing makeup, and I have no complaints about its cleansing power or emulsification - it's perfect in every way! These days there are many cost-effective cleansing oils available, so I'm not sure if I'll repurchase. I've been using a light, water-like formula from another brand, but I tried this one as part of a YouTuber's bundle deal with a pore-minimizing ampoule and cica cream. It's quite good, and I think I'll remember it fondly! For now, I'll finish my current oil, but I'll definitely consider this one again. The price is reasonable when purchased during sales or promotions! The only downside is that since it's a shake-before-use product, it seems to separate even in the pump. The first squeeze always dispenses the separated product. But it doesn't really affect its performance... Come to think of it, I guess it's not even a real drawback. I just wanted to share this personally... Since plastic cosmetic containers often don't get recycled properly even when sorted, if you clean them well and take them to Olive Young, you can get a 2000 won coupon and help save the planet! Please join in, everyone! Adding to this because someone read my tip: Olive Young accepts all plastic products, not just their own brands! That's really great. The app says all Olive Young stores accept them, but some store owners might not due to inconvenience. It might help to call ahead! After submitting, you need to get verification. In the Olive Young app, go to Home > Events > scroll down to find the 'Olive Young Beauty Cycle' banner!! Submit there and show it to them. The banner has more details on which products are accepted. They take all kinds of plastic, so I even cut open toothpaste tubes, use them for washing machine cleaning, then recycle them! They also accept sample-sized cosmetics, so I cut them open, use every last bit with cotton swabs, clean them thoroughly, and recycle them! It's an easy way for everyone to consider the environment, so don't overthink it - try recycling even one item! - km*******Combination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedJun 1, 2024

My skin had been struggling with blackheads and whiteheads on my nose. I used to only use a cleansing foam without any other products. I bought this after a popular YouTuber recommended it, and on the first day of use, I noticed blackheads and whiteheads coming off on my hands. After using it consistently, my nose has become much cleaner. Before, my pores were visible even with makeup on, but now they're barely noticeable. This is truly a holy grail product for me! While there's nothing particularly disappointing, it does have a slight oily scent. Those with sensitive noses might not appreciate it.
