On days when you wear makeup, be sure to double cleanse twice.

Sometimes the skin can look a bit dull, especially when only cleansing once on days with makeup. I'll need to use it more to be sure. After washing, there's significant dryness typical of low pH products, and I notice some dead skin cells forming.

As a low pH soap, it leaves skin feeling comfortable after cleansing with no irritation. When shaving, the rich lather minimizes irritation. It's even gentler than low pH foam cleansers, helping to reduce redness.

It's really convenient to cut a small piece of this solid shampoo bar and take it in a tin case when traveling.

Apart from the drawbacks inherent to the soap format, there aren't any particular downsides. It probably wouldn't be suitable for use on hair.

I use it as a second cleanser, so overall I'm satisfied. It doesn't completely remove sunscreen, so I recommend using it as a second cleanse. I didn't buy it expecting it to remove sunscreen from the start, so that's fine!
