I recommend this for oily skin as it seems to control sebum effectively The product doesn't absorb well, so I only use it at night - 4r********Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedApr 8, 2025
It's incredibly effective at reducing blemishes. Applying it as a spot treatment before bed works wonders! If you don't use it as a spot treatment and try to spread it over your face, it barely absorbs. It's definitely meant to be applied at night before sleeping! - 00********Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinAtopic SkinSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessDead Skin CellsRecommendedMar 9, 2025
The texture is a bit thick, but it applies smoothly if you're gentle. After sleeping with it on, I woke up with no excess oil at all. Highly recommended for blemish-prone skin! The price is quite steep... It's really expensive. Apart from that, everything else is pretty decent. - wo**********Oily SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsEnlarged PoresRednessRecommendedFeb 12, 2025
I bought this Acsen cream after hearing it was good for blemishes. Bemonte was a brand I hadn't heard of before, but apparently it's widely used in esthetic clinics! ✔️Soothing It definitely had a calming effect on inflammatory blemishes. My skin concerns are about 90% closed comedones and 10% inflammatory acne. While I didn't see noticeably quick results with the closed comedones, it was certainly effective in soothing inflammatory blemishes! Looking at other reviews, people mostly saw results with inflammatory acne too. When I applied it thickly before bed, even redness was reduced by morning. ✔️Hydration/Oil Control This might vary from person to person, but it's not particularly hydrating. Those with dry or combination dehydrated skin might feel dryness in the morning after applying it at night. My skin type fluctuates between combination dehydrated and very oily depending on its condition. When I layered this cream over a hydrating serum before bed, I noticed it helped control excess oil, which I liked. ✔️Application The texture is thick and concentrated, so it's not easy to apply. It can clump if applied to skin without any moisture. ✔️Absorption As mentioned above, due to its thick consistency, it doesn't absorb well. It leaves a slight white cast on the face, similar to some sunscreens, which lasts for quite a while. This makes it difficult to use before makeup. However, I often used it when going out bare-faced as it provides a slight brightening effect. I mainly use it at night before bed! ✔️Price Because esthetic skincare products have limited purchase routes, the regular price is quite high. However, if you keep an eye out, you can sometimes find group buys that offer better prices. Due to its poor spreadability, I recommend applying it when your previous serum layer hasn't completely dried - when there's still a bit of moisture left. For those who find it drying, try using it as a spot treatment just on blemishes. - up*****Dry SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinAtopic SkinInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityRednessRecommendedFeb 7, 2025
The texture is a bit thick, but I use it in the morning since I have acne-prone skin. I haven't been using it long enough to comment on its effectiveness yet. Nothing really! I think it's great overall, except for being slightly drying. - rh*********Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinFeb 7, 2025
It was pretty decent and didn't cause any tingling or discomfort when applied Considering the price, I couldn't really feel any significant soothing effect. Some areas became itchy after application, and on days when I applied a lot, I even got small bumps like millet seeds - 81*****Oily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinEnlarged PoresRecommendedOct 8, 2024
This might be the true sensitive skin cream... Unlike tea tree, Houttuynia cordata, or pink spot treatments that you can build tolerance to over time (not just spot products, but all trouble-specific serums and creams), I haven't experienced that with this one yet. I hope it stays that way... I'm on my second bottle now. It seems to quickly fade blemish scars, and when applied after extractions before bed, it quickly reduces swelling and redness. The texture is too thick and rich, and it's too drying to use on its own... - oh*****Dehydrated SkinAcne SkinRecommendedAug 31, 2024
It seems to quickly fade acne scars. I'm using it as a spot treatment on areas where blemishes are appearing. It's quite pricey. The amount you get for the price is small, making it a bit too expensive to use as a daily moisturizer. Apply it generously on blemishes like a spot treatment. It quickly calms them down and helps scars fade faster. - db*******Combination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedAug 29, 2024
My skin suddenly flared up, so I tried this product based on a recommendation. The next day, everything calmed down like magic! Be aware that it has an ointment-like texture, which can leave a white cast! You might end up looking like a ghost, so it's best to apply it before bed. - dl*********Oily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresDead Skin CellsRecommendedJul 3, 2024
Even on oily skin, it didn't aggravate or cause more blemishes, probably because it's specifically for acne-prone skin. It absorbs smoothly. I can't really tell if it has any special benefits. It's just okay. The price, however... is wickedly high.
