Even though I have oily skin, I prefer sunscreens that apply lightly and can be reapplied easily. I bought this Simonbread sunscreen after getting a recommendation. True to its name 'Sun Emulsion', it applies with a hydrating feel just like an emulsion, without any heaviness, making it perfect for reapplication. The second photo shows how it looks after rubbing it in once. As you can see in the last photo, the hydration is no joke, and it feels incredibly lightweight. It's on the pricier side, but because the product is so good, I stock up when it's on sale. For my daily routine, I layer the Simonbread mist several times, then apply the Sun Emulsion, followed by a powder compact. That's my whole makeup routine! It's a light, comfortable look for everyday wear that doesn't leave my skin feeling dry. - wj******Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRednessDead Skin CellsRecommendedFeb 7, 2025
This sunscreen is the absolute best for preventing blemishes! I'm not a fan of reapplying products on my face, but after hearing you should reapply sunscreen every two hours, I started doing it. Amazingly, it doesn't cause pilling, keeps my skin hydrated, and feels fantastic. It's more like applying an emulsion than a sunscreen. This is my holy grail sunscreen! The scent is lovely too. Definitely a product to stock up on during sales - it's a lifetime essential. The slim packaging also makes it convenient to carry around in daily life. There's nothing to complain about. Really, there's nothing. Absolutely nothing. Completely nothing. - gj********Dehydrated SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRecommendedJan 11, 2025
This is already my fourth bottle of this sunscreen! I was skeptical when I heard it was like an emulsion, but I decided to give it a try. It really does apply smoothly like an emulsion. On busy mornings, I can quickly do a basic skincare routine, apply this sunscreen, and finish with just a powder compact - and my skin still has that dewy glow! I think I'll stick with this until I find an even better sunscreen. So far, I haven't found any downsides. It seems to work well for me, so I'd recommend giving it a try! - ek*****Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedOct 21, 2024
As someone who always got blemishes from sunscreen, I avoided it for years and only used cushions with SPF50. I'm that trash human, you know? But I noticed my once-fair skin developing dark spots, so I knew I had to do something. After some research and seeing Jiyoon Mi's Instagram, I decided to give this a try! This is the first product I've used without any skin reactions. I'm slathering it on generously, amazed at how it doesn't cause any issues! While it's not completely weightless, it provides adequate sun protection without feeling suffocating. The texture is quite fluid. When you first apply it, it feels moisturizing, but then it absorbs into the skin, leaving it hydrated on the inside and velvety on the outside. The scent is a bit disappointing. I've gotten used to it, but it smells like hand soap! I think it could have done without any fragrance, though I don't really notice it anymore when using it. As someone who loves a dewy makeup look, I found this slightly lacking. Since it's a sunscreen formula, it's not exactly designed for that glowy finish. When I apply my base makeup, it tends to mattify along with the sunscreen. For those worried about blemishes, definitely give this a try! As for the price, keep an eye out for discounts or buy-one-get-one-free deals to stock up! - ma*****Dry SkinSensitive SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityRecommendedAug 19, 2024
It's such an incredibly lightweight and clear sun emulsion, if I may call it that. There's a slight eye irritation, but it feels so light and pleasant, more like applying an emulsion rather than a sunscreen. It's perfect for someone like me who doesn't wear makeup daily. There's a slight eye irritation (may vary by individual). While it's moisturizing, in summer hair tends to stick to the face. - 01********Combination SkinAtopic SkinRecommendedJul 29, 2024
It's incredibly lightweight and feels like you're not wearing anything at all. It's truly like applying an emulsion, just as the name suggests. There are no drawbacks, but it absorbs so well that you can hardly tell you've applied anything! - wj**********Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRednessDead Skin CellsRecommendedJul 16, 2024
My skin is prone to deep dryness and blemishes when using incompatible products. I've been applying sunscreen since high school, but I don't like ones with a white cast. After trying various sunscreens, this one's the best. It's hydrating and doesn't pill even with multiple layers. As someone with super sensitive skin, it doesn't cause any irritation. I'm truly on my fourth bottle and keep stocking up on this beloved product! It's a great product, but it's a shame that not many people seem to know about it. I wish Simon Bread would become more popular so it could offer more discounts. My boyfriend tried it too and says it's wonderfully hydrating with a pleasant scent. - yu******Combination SkinSebum/BlackheadsDead Skin CellsRecommendedJul 16, 2024
This sun emulsion is truly like an emulsion - you can layer it multiple times without pilling, and it doesn't interfere with your base makeup! The volume is small, and the regular price without discounts is quite expensive... I recommend purchasing this during the summer sale. - na*****Combination SkinSebum/BlackheadsRednessDead Skin CellsRecommendedMay 20, 2024
A sunscreen without white cast or eye irritation. I received it as a gift and it was a game-changer! The price...! I've always bought sunscreens on buy-one-get-one-free deals, but paying 30,000 won for just one seems quite expensive. - do******Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinAtopic SkinWrinkles/ElasticityRecommendedMay 15, 2024
It applies smoothly like a true emulsion, without any stinging or white cast If you don't let your skincare absorb fully before applying, you might experience some pilling. Also, it feels a bit too rich during hot summer days
