I bought this to use as a clear mascara, and it definitely lifts my lashes nicely, which I love. After a while, my lashes turn white... If you're looking to use it as a clear mascara like I did, I'd recommend not buying it. It's actually a mascara fixer, so if you apply mascara over it, your lashes won't turn white. - mi********Combination SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsEnlarged PoresRednessDead Skin CellsRecommendedJun 4, 2025
It goes on smoothly, which is great! At first, it may dry with a white cast, but once you get the hang of it, that doesn't happen anymore! There wasn't really anything disappointing about it. Aside from the initial white tint, I have no complaints. - yu*******Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesInner DrynessEnlarged PoresDead Skin CellsRecommendedMay 18, 2025
I have relatively long eyelashes, but I really dislike how mascara tends to clump and smear. So I just apply this Hwahae Fixer, and it keeps my lashes looking natural and fixed in place without getting weighed down or smudging. It allows me to create a fresh, innocent-looking lash effect! So these days, I just lightly use this when doing a no-mascara makeup look, and it makes me look so fresh and pretty! ❤️ Anyway, since it's white, if you apply too much, your eyelashes will turn white... So it seems important to apply it in moderation! Even a small amount has good staying power! Applying it lightly after taking a small amount from the tissue will prevent your eyelashes from becoming white and clumped! - an*******Combination SkinRecommendedApr 12, 2025
This mascara has incredible staying power. When applied before your regular mascara, it makes your lashes look fuller and more defined. The downside is that this mascara can leave white marks. Its strong hold makes it difficult to comb through your lashes after application. - jo******Combination SkinSensitive SkinInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityRednessDead Skin CellsRecommendedApr 6, 2025
As expected from the famous Etude mascara fixer, its staying power is truly impressive. There's a noticeable difference in how well your mascara holds up with and without it. When you apply this fixer before your regular mascara, the longevity definitely improves. I switched from Etude to Clio mascara, and with this fixer, the wear time doubled. Even after 12 hours, my lashes looked exactly the same as when I left in the morning. I highly recommend this fixer for those whose mascara tends to smudge easily! Since it's a product that could potentially get into your eyes, I'm particular about ingredients. I was relieved to find no concerning components. After trying several, I've settled on this as my go-to mascara fixer. The brush is a bit thick, so I wish it were thinner for more precise application. Not sure if it's typical of fixers, but it tends to set quickly, so you need to work fast when applying it. After experimenting with various mascara combinations over the fixer, I've found that certain mascaras definitely work better without clumping and with improved staying power. It seems important to find a mascara that pairs well with this fixer. - hi*******Dehydrated SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessRecommendedMar 10, 2025
This product breathes new life into my constantly drooping lashes. The clear formula makes it perfect for achieving a natural look. Nothing really. Though I wish it had a bit more staying power. - au********Dry SkinSensitive SkinAtopic SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityRecommendedMar 9, 2025
Application: The mascara applies well to every corner of the lashes. I think it's a product that can be used comfortably for everyday wear. I use it on important days when I'm doing full makeup. Performance: However, it doesn't give the feeling of perfectly setting the mascara, more like an adequate hold...? Design: It's small and lightweight, making it convenient to carry around. I don't think it's going to become a staple in my routine. It was decent, but I plan to try a different product next time. I don't have any specific tips to share. - sq********Oily SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRecommendedMar 3, 2025
Personally, I'm extremely satisfied with the staying power! My previous mascara fixer would make my mascara disappear without a trace after just 1-2 hours out. But with this product, even 8 hours after applying makeup, my lashes were still nicely curled and held in place. It seems unavoidable that mascara fixers can clump and turn white if you don't control the amount well. This fixer does have that inconvenience, but if you apply it carefully to minimize clumping and thoroughly apply your mascara, it's not too severe. - so*******Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsRecommendedFeb 20, 2025
I'm not sure if I'm using it incorrectly, but when applied just once, it tends to droop quickly. I found that applying it twice works much better. If you follow up immediately with mascara, it sets firmly. I like that it doesn't clump, resulting in a natural look! I'd recommend this for those who struggle with applying mascara. The price is budget-friendly too! No complaints! While one application might not be enough for a strong hold, multiple coats create a perfect fixer. Highly recommended for beginners! - ps*****Oily SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesEnlarged PoresRecommendedFeb 20, 2025
I avoid mascara because I dislike the clumpy, uneven look it can create. That's why I prefer using either the black or clear formula - I love the clear one! I tested both on each eye for comparison. The nourishing effects were similar, and after a few days, I noticed my lashes had a more natural curl even without makeup. It's amazing to see results even on undamaged lashes! I appreciate that I can apply it quickly and shape my lashes with my fingers for a natural curl - it's even better than using an eyelash curler (especially for those of us who struggle with them). At first, I found it challenging to apply to my shorter lower lashes. Some popular lash serums have a fluffy tip that seems easier for applying to lower lashes, but this one doesn't. I had to gently pull down my under-eye area to apply it somehow. Despite the initial difficulty, you'll quickly notice your lower lashes growing longer once you manage to apply it consistently. This lash fixer feels lighter than mascara. I like to apply it to my entire lashes, then just touch up the tips with a lengthening mascara for a much lighter feel. On most days, I either use only the lash fixer or go completely bare-faced.
