When applied, it gives a brightening effect. I think it has good whitening results. No blemishes appeared. It clumped together, feeling like I was applying an old, hardened cream rather than a sunscreen. - Hwahae UserNormal SkinAcne SkinMay 4, 2025
I picked this up at Daiso for just 5000 won. I usually apply it over my emulsion and toner. Although it's a physical sunscreen, I'm quite satisfied with how well it absorbs. I have slightly prone to milia skin, but overall I don't experience many blemishes. That said, this sunscreen hasn't caused any skin reactions or breakouts. There is some white cast, as you can see in the photo - it's noticeable around the sideburns, but on the cheeks, there's just a nice glow with barely any white cast, which I'm really pleased about. The initial white cast is quite strong, but it fades after a short while. As with any physical sunscreen, there is inevitably some white cast. However, it's not severe - if it's too noticeable around your eyebrows or sideburns, you can gently wipe those areas with a wet wipe. It can make your hair look a bit chalky if it gets in it, so be careful when applying near your hairline. Sometimes if I need to style my hair, I just use the leftover product on my hands to smooth down my bangs. If you're not meeting anyone or just hanging out with close friends, you can slather this on generously. However, if you work in customer service or have important meetings, I'd recommend applying a thin layer first and then touching up later if needed. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinFeb 16, 2025
I bought this mineral sunscreen from Daiso to use before makeup, thinking if it wasn't great, I could just use it on my body since it had a large volume. But surprisingly, it turned out to be amazing... I'm still shocked at how good it is. I've been using it daily before makeup without fail. Despite being a mineral sunscreen, it doesn't clog pores significantly (I have oily skin and haven't experienced any blemishes as long as I cleanse properly). It brightens my complexion by half a tone, making it a perfect makeup base. The incredible value of 120g for just 5000 won is a bonus! I always thought Fruit Land was just an online brand that stocked cheap items for bulk sales, but I had no idea they were a hidden gem for sunscreens... The only concern is that given its low price, I'm a bit skeptical about its sun protection factor. Still, I figure it should at least provide adequate protection against indoor UV rays. I recommend it as a budget-friendly sunscreen for indoor use. - Hwahae UserDry SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinJun 14, 2024
It's gentle on the skin and doesn't cause any blemishes. There's nothing irritating about it, and it offers great value for money. It's not greasy at all, and it even leaves a slightly powdery feeling. I love that it washes off easily with a second cleanse. The white cast is a bit disappointing. I thought it would be less noticeable, but it's more apparent than expected. It feels a bit drying, probably because I have dry skin.
