I was amazed to find this sunscreen at Daiso for just 5000 won, and it's from a brand I know called Fruit Land, so I decided to give it a try. The most surprising thing is that despite the low price, you get a generous 120g of product, which is quite a lot. Being a mineral sunscreen, it's gentler on the skin and less likely to cause blemishes. Plus, it offers SPF 50+ protection, making it a really great product. The value for money is absolutely incredible! The only downside, if I had to mention one, is that being a mineral sunscreen, it does leave a slight white cast and applies a bit thick. However, if you apply an emulsion to your body first and then layer this sunscreen on top, it works just fine. To be honest, I use a more expensive sunscreen on my face, but I generously apply this cream to my neck, arms, and legs when I'm going to be outdoors. - Hwahae UserNormal SkinAcne SkinMay 4, 2025
I picked this up at Daiso for just 5000 won. I usually apply it over my emulsion and toner. Although it's a physical sunscreen, I'm quite satisfied with how well it absorbs. I have slightly prone to milia skin, but overall I don't experience many blemishes. That said, this sunscreen hasn't caused any skin reactions or breakouts. There is some white cast, as you can see in the photo - it's noticeable around the sideburns, but on the cheeks, there's just a nice glow with barely any white cast, which I'm really pleased about. The initial white cast is quite strong, but it fades after a short while. As with any physical sunscreen, there is inevitably some white cast. However, it's not severe - if it's too noticeable around your eyebrows or sideburns, you can gently wipe those areas with a wet wipe. It can make your hair look a bit chalky if it gets in it, so be careful when applying near your hairline. Sometimes if I need to style my hair, I just use the leftover product on my hands to smooth down my bangs. If you're not meeting anyone or just hanging out with close friends, you can slather this on generously. However, if you work in customer service or have important meetings, I'd recommend applying a thin layer first and then touching up later if needed. - Hwahae UserNormal SkinApr 25, 2025
Affordable price, contains zinc oxide, and easily available at Daiso stores Extremely white cast and difficult to apply due to its dry, patchy texture - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinApr 9, 2025
First off, it's cheap. So in terms of value for money, it's top-notch. If you're in a pinch and need to save some cash, go for it. Being a sunscreen, the scent is unavoidable, but the white cast is really severe. As it's a mineral sunscreen, it clogs pores, which caused more blemishes for me. So if you're like me, where clogged pores immediately upset your skin, and you have oily skin, I wouldn't recommend it. That said, being a mineral sunscreen, it's good for sensitive skin. If you cleanse properly and don't have oily skin, I'd recommend it. The price makes up for its shortcomings. It also works well as a brightening moisturizer with sun protection. - Hwahae UserDry SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinMar 3, 2025
I bought the 120ml mineral sunscreen from Daiso for 5000 won. It has a strong white cast and feels a bit thick when applying, almost like it's clumping together. I have dry skin, and even though I applied plenty of skincare beforehand, it still felt drying after a while. I've had some dead skin cells lately, and this sunscreen seems to emphasize them. I'll probably mix it with an emulsion and use it on the back of my hands. My body's getting dry too, so that might work. The white cast is severe and it's difficult to spread. The formula is thick, and due to the small opening, you need to squeeze hard to get it out. Not recommended for dry skin. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinMar 1, 2025
I've been using this sunscreen from Daiso for a year now. As it's a mineral sunscreen, it does leave a bit of a white cast and feels slightly thick. You definitely need to control the amount due to the noticeable white cast. It applies with good adherence, similar to a makeup base, and has a nice, firm texture. It reminds me of old-school sunscreens in terms of how it feels on the skin. Still, considering it's only 5000 won, I'm satisfied with my purchase. The formula tends to transfer onto clothes. It also seems to wash off easily with water. The white cast is really noticeable - it's the kind you can't miss. For a more natural application, make sure your skin is well-hydrated after your skincare routine. Then, squeeze out a small amount and gently pat it onto the center of your face, blending outwards. - Hwahae UserDry SkinFeb 23, 2025
It absorbs smoothly, comes in a generous amount, and offers great value for money. A fruity paradise of love! It's a bit too thick and leaves a white cast. It also feels somewhat sticky. - Hwahae UserDehydrated SkinSensitive SkinDec 9, 2024
Great value for money and seems to fulfill the primary purpose and function of a sunscreen. It's even better that it's a mineral sunscreen without any eye irritation. Generally satisfying, but if I had to nitpick, there's a slight white cast and a matte finish when applied. During dry winter months, apply a generous amount of moisturizer before the sunscreen to maintain hydration. I don't wear much makeup, so I'm not sure about its compatibility with foundation. - Hwahae UserOily SkinSep 16, 2024
It's a mineral sunscreen with a generous amount, and it's only 5,000 won at Daiso! It's an affordable and safe mineral sunscreen that you can apply liberally. The ingredients aren't harmful, so you can use it with peace of mind. It feels a bit heavy and leaves a white cast. When you apply makeup over it, it tends to pill and transfer. However, since it's a mineral sunscreen, I don't expect perfect absorption and use it anyway, considering the safe ingredients. I've found that chemical sunscreens with better absorption can't have such good ingredients. I've heard some great tips about applying it with a puff, so I'll have to try that later. And even though you can't see it, I'll make sure to cleanse thoroughly! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAtopy SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinJul 4, 2024
The value for money is so good that it's great for slathering all over your body without hesitation There's quite a bit of white cast, but it might be fine for those who don't mind it
