It's definitely a time-saver compared to applying primer, sunscreen, and foundation separately! Plus, it really brightens up my complexion. I wish it had a bit more coverage, but that might be asking too much. It's already pretty great as is! - ea*******Oily SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesDead Skin CellsRecommendedFeb 27, 2025
My skin type is combination dehydrated, with a cool winter undertone :) If you 'build a solid skincare base' and then apply this primer, it feels amazing! As someone with cool winter undertones who loves a pink complexion, I was always stressed about my face looking yellowish. I used it in this order: toner -> cream -> sunscreen -> primer -> foundation. When used with the primer, my skin didn't look yellow anymore, but had a lovely pink glow! I was so happy with how it evened my skin tone and even covered my pores, giving me that blurred skin effect! You really need to apply a thorough skincare routine before using this. When I used it with my usual quick skincare routine, my foundation looked patchy and started pilling when I applied it. That was a bit disappointing. Make sure to control the amount you use, and apply it by gently sweeping from the inside of your face outwards, as if you're lifting off dead skin cells. - sm******Combination SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesEnlarged PoresDead Skin CellsRecommendedFeb 24, 2025
Skin type: Acne-prone with dead skin cells and visible pores Product: The brightening moisturizer function is absolutely fantastic! I was worried about the pink base, but it seems to blend well with my complexion. Compared to the blue-cap primer from the same company, this one is a bit richer, probably due to the tone-evening feature. However, it still finishes with the same soft, matte feel as the blue-cap version! The skin tone evening effect is so good that I'll likely repurchase once my skin improves. As I have acne-prone skin with some dead skin cells, I noticed the primer made my flakes more noticeable. So I'm only applying it to areas without flaking, like around my nose and cheeks. If you have acne-prone skin, you might want to think twice about this product. I've also been mixing it with concealer to cover my dark circles. My concealer tends to be quite drying, but when mixed with this primer, it applies smoothly and provides better coverage. I think combining it with concealer works really well! - 28********Combination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedJan 15, 2025
I first tried this in winter and surprisingly, it wasn't too drying! I think it'll work even better in summer. It's a brightening moisturizer base, so I'm less worried about my complexion darkening. There's really nothing to complain about! The only minor issue is that the opening tends to get dirty frequently. For best results, apply a thin layer with a spatula, then use a puff to ensure it adheres well before adding cushion or foundation. It looks really flawless. It seems to pair better with semi-matte or semi-glow foundations rather than full glow or matte ones. - dt*****Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesInner DrynessEnlarged PoresRednessDead Skin CellsRecommendedSep 19, 2024
The pore coverage is excellent! When I apply makeup after using this, it sits much better on my skin. It really shines as a primer. It's tricky to control the amount, and it can settle into lines. Unfortunately, it fades too quickly over time. - sk*********Dry SkinSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesEnlarged PoresRecommendedSep 2, 2024
The moisturizing effect and pink-tinted brightening are absolutely gorgeous! It seems to work really well with cushion foundations too. It does a great job of minimizing the appearance of pores! While it may vary depending on skin type, I found it didn't adhere well to my skin. You'll need to blend it carefully and thoroughly! Also, be sure to control the amount you use - otherwise it can look overly pale and separate. If you're not careful, you might end up with white patches in certain areas. Using a damp beauty sponge to pat it in helps it adhere better and prevents separation! - wn**********Dry SkinInner DrynessRednessDead Skin CellsAug 30, 2024
I loved that it's a primer with brightening effects. It's great that I don't need to apply a separate brightening moisturizer. I wouldn't really call it a primer. It seemed to break down faster and felt like it was pilling a bit when applying makeup. It might work better if you strengthen your base skincare routine. - an********Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsDark CirclesWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresDead Skin CellsRecommendedAug 5, 2024
Since heavy makeup doesn't suit me well and I don't wear it often, I was looking for a product that could lightly even my skin tone. Even when I sweat or get wet, it doesn't separate or look unnatural - it just blends with my skin as if it's part of it! It naturally brightens my complexion by about half a shade and makes my skin look clean and clear. Just applying this and sunscreen makes such a difference! I love how it absorbs smoothly and leaves my skin feeling soft and velvety. The pump doesn't dispense smoothly in one go. It gets stuck halfway and then requires a bit more pressure to fully depress, which makes controlling the amount a bit tricky. I end up tapping it lightly several times to use it! (This works for me since I prefer to use a thin layer and don't need much product anyway!) - go*********Dry SkinAtopic SkinSebum/BlackheadsEnlarged PoresRecommendedJul 24, 2024
I've tried many primers, but this one made my makeup look the best! Unlike other primers that felt slippery and unpleasant, this one adheres perfectly to the skin. I love it so much I'm on my fourth bottle! There's nothing I dislike about it, but I think it would be especially great for summer cool tones. However, I wouldn't recommend it to those looking for a slippery primer! It works wonderfully when applied right before foundation or cushion - an**********Combination SkinRecommendedJul 9, 2024
A holy grail for foundation-free looks. When I used brightening moisturizers with SPF, my pores were still visible, my skin looked patchy, and it left an oily residue, so I couldn't go without foundation. Thanks to this product, I've broken free from foundation. Just apply this and a bit of concealer, and your skin makeup is done in no time. No need for brushes - just smooth it on with your fingers, significantly cutting down on prep time. This absolutely can't be discontinued. It's a holy grail for slightly oily skin types who want to skip foundation. In this era where everyone's chasing that glow, I deeply appreciate Code Glokolor for creating products for oily skin. The only downside is that I'm worried this product might be discontinued if people don't buy it enough. It absolutely cannot be discontinued. If it is, I'll camp out at the company's doorstep until they bring it back. The best tip is to buy this product as soon as possible. It's perfect for when you're going somewhere less formal (like work) and don't want to wear heavy makeup, but still need to look neat and put-together. If they're planning to discontinue this, they better give me 20 boxes first. It applies well even if you just slap it on with your hands - it's that good. I've already reviewed the pre-renewal version, but since people still don't seem to know about it, I rushed here to review the new version too, worried it might be discontinued. I'm that devoted to this product!
