I was lucky enough to win the Hwahae Trial Reviewer event to try this product! I had previously encountered the Mediheal brand through their sheet masks, but I was pleasantly surprised by how many great features this product has. ✔️Usage Experience: The mask was very moisturizing, and there was a generous amount of ampoule essence inside. Even after 20 minutes, the mask didn't feel dry at all, likely due to the abundant essence. ✔️Sensitive Skin Mask Feel: I have sensitive and seborrheic dermatitis-prone skin, and most sheet masks tend to feel irritating. But this Mediheal mask didn't cause any stinging or discomfort! The mask also adhered very well to my face, so I was able to comfortably use it while drying my hair. It felt like a very effective face mask. ✔️After Use: After removing the sheet mask, I gently wiped away the remaining essence with a dermatological pad and let it absorb. I felt like my pores on my cheeks looked slightly smaller, and the skin on my nose felt smoother and softer, likely due to the lactic acid ingredients. ✔️Overall: This is a great mask for oily/combination skin types to use for hydration and elasticity, especially in the fall and winter seasons. Just be careful not to try to absorb too much of the leftover essence after removing the mask!
Cons
While I personally tolerate retinol serums well, those new to using retinol may find it doesn't agree with their skin. And for those dealing with seborrheic dermatitis or acne, I'd recommend avoiding this mask on days when your skin feels particularly irritated. I used it on one of those sensitive days and ended up with 2-4 new blemishes afterwards.
Tip
For oily skin types, I'd suggest gently wiping away some of the excess ampoule essence after using the mask, and then applying a soothing gel. The abundant essence made the mask feel a bit heavy for my liking.

The essence is really packed in! After cleansing, I applied a face mask and then poured the essence over the mask, and there was still a lot left over,,haha It was so moisturizing and stayed well on my face while drying my hair! The scent didn't seem to be too strong while the mask was on. The scent wasn't bothersome at all~
Cons
I couldn't really feel the pore-minimizing effect..! Of course, it could be because I haven't used it consistently, but I couldn't really feel it after 1-2 uses..ㅠ And I think those with sensitive skin should think it over before purchasing! I have somewhat sensitive skin, and after using the mask, my face felt itchy and reddened.

The essence formula is light and has good moisture. The soft sheet is gentle on sensitive skin without irritation. It has a pore-minimizing effect!! Rather than actually reducing the pores themselves, it gives a feeling of the pores being slightly cleansed and looking cleaner. = For oily skin, it doesn't have a big effect on blackheads or sebum, but it does work on the pores, so it's good to use it regularly.
Cons
Since this is my first time using retinol, breakouts have come up. If you're using it for the first time, try only about once a week at first to get used to the retinol, and then use it consistently, and it should be effective on the pores!

Personally, I don't like sheet masks that dry out quickly because they only have a little bit of essence. But this one has a lot of essence, so I was able to apply the remaining essence generously after removing the sheet. The sheet itself is also thin and adheres well to the face. My skin is sensitive, so I often get irritated when using sheet masks, but this one didn't feel irritating at all - it was soft and gentle. As for the pore tightening and elasticity effects, I'll have to use it consistently to see the results.

Recently, I purchased the Mediheal Tea Tree Care Solution and found that the inflammatory acne has calmed down significantly, so I've been quite pleased with Mediheal. Then, I heard that Mediheal had a Hwahae Trial Reviewer program, so I decided to apply for it. Originally, I had been using retinol-based products like bakuchiol and retinal, so the idea of using a retinol-containing product intrigued me. It sounded like a great combination for clearing out pores and treating blemishes. I had recently had some issues with my skin reacting poorly to a new sunscreen, so I couldn't jump right into using the Hwahae mask. I waited until my skin had calmed down before giving it a try, and I was immediately impressed by the mask's excellent adherence. I used to really like cellulose sheet masks, but this one feels even more closely adhered to my skin. When I furrow my brow, I can see the mask's texture following the movement, which shows just how well it clings. The mask's adherence is truly remarkable - the details of my skin are visible through the mask. There is also a generous amount of essence, so I was able to use the leftover essence on my neck and arms. After using the mask for a few sessions, I've noticed that the blemishes on my face seem to be coming closer to the surface, almost as if the mask is helping to draw them out. It's a strange but interesting effect. In the mornings after using the mask, my skin does appear smoother and more radiant. However, for those who are already accustomed to using retinol products, the effects of this mask might feel a bit mild in comparison. The results can vary.

Oh, it stings... it really stings. As soon as I applied the mask, I could feel a slight stinging sensation and some redness appearing on my skin. With retinol products, if there's irritation, you can take a break for a few days and then resume use. But for those with very sensitive skin, frequent use may not be advisable. Since I had previously used retinal products, I thought I'd be fine, but the difference in concentration must be the culprit. For a sensitive person like me, the stinging was quite unpleasant. And proportional to the stinging, I felt the pore tightening and skin tone improvements were more mild compared to the retinal products I normally use. However, for those who don't typically use retinol, this could be a good way to test out a retinol product without the full commitment, as the effects may be more subtle. It's so moisturizing! The essence is plentiful, making it feel so moisturizing and pleasant. Moreover, the essence doesn't flow like water, so it's fully absorbed into the sheet. The sheet is also thin yet resilient and firm, so it adheres to the face very nicely. After removing it, I could feel the elasticity in my skin.
Cons
It seems the retinol XLAH caused some irritation. I felt a slight stinging during use. After using this, some redness appeared.. Those with sensitive skin should be cautious.
