For dry, sensitive skin in your 30s Recommended as a gentle moisturizer for the whole family or anti-aging purposes ✔️Contains patented milk thistle oil Over 90% naturally-derived ingredients (patented milk thistle oil + ceramides and niacinamide) ✔️Hydration highly praised by those with extremely dry skin Feels like a mild emulsion + soothing gel, thin but doesn't run, adheres well to skin Texture seems like a mix between a soothing gel and a slightly thicker formulation, quite fluid Disappointing that fragrance is high on the ingredient list Slightly higher viscosity may feel heavy on the face during summer Difficult to control amount dispensed This moisturizer works hard to provide deep hydration for those with super sensitive skin. Its unique formula helps even skin tone and improve your complexion. While it absorbs well and doesn't cause pilling, some may find it a bit rich for summer use. The product aims to balance oil and moisture levels, potentially reducing redness and minimizing the appearance of pores. Despite its effectiveness in combating deep dryness, the high placement of fragrance in the ingredient list may be a concern for those prone to irritation or allergic reactions. - ji*******Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinAtopic SkinWrinkles/ElasticityRecommendedJun 8, 2025
The application feels refreshingly pleasant. It seems perfect for summer use. There's nothing particularly negative to mention. I recommend it. It's good for everyday, hassle-free use. This product absorbs well, leaving a light and fresh feeling on the skin. It's especially suitable for the warmer months when you want something that doesn't feel heavy. The texture is comfortable and easy to apply, making it a great choice for daily skincare routines. - gu*******Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRecommendedMay 3, 2025
It absorbs well and comes in a large size, so I keep it in the bathroom and apply it all over my body after showering. It's wonderfully hydrating. The only downside might be that the large size makes it a bit pricey, but that's about it. - sa*******Combination SkinAcne SkinApr 29, 2025
There's nothing particularly good... It's challenging to write 20 characters, haha! 1. It absorbs slowly 2. It pills like dead skin cells While the first point is an understandable drawback, the second one is a deal-breaker. No matter how I apply it to my body, it pills up like dead skin cells. Whether I apply it to damp skin or after drying off... Whether I use it alone or mix it with oil... it still pills............ - gi***********Dry SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesEnlarged PoresRednessApr 20, 2025
It absorbs well and has a pleasant scent, making it good for everyday use. Unfortunately, it pills and comes off like dead skin cells, so I wouldn't recommend it. - ms********RecommendedApr 18, 2025
I've found an emulsion without excess oil that leaves my skin smooth and well-hydrated While it's not greasy, it feels a bit tacky, and I wish it were fragrance-free - bl****Dry SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedApr 17, 2025
Great for dry skin, absorbs well, and provides decent hydration It doesn't absorb super quickly, so I prefer applying it a bit earlier rather than right before bed - ye******Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRednessDead Skin CellsRecommendedApr 6, 2025
This is a 200ml version, but it's the same product, so let's give it a try. The texture is incredibly fluid and silky smooth, and it absorbs into the skin with a nice, plump feeling. When applied, it gives that perfect moisturizing sensation you'd expect from a hydrating cream. It might be too greasy to use before applying makeup, and I suspect it could cause pilling. I prefer to use it at night after cleansing, right before bed. - he**********Oily SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsRednessMar 31, 2025
Summary/Overview: Surprisingly, this body emulsion has decent hydration. The pilling is a drawback. Hydration: Despite feeling like a regular thin emulsion, I was amazed by its impressive moisturizing power. Applying this alone leaves no sense of dryness, and since I have oily skin, I need to be careful not to over-apply. Scent: It has a powdery floral fragrance, and Avène is known for their pleasant scents. However, the scent is quite strong and long-lasting, so those sensitive to fragrances should be cautious. Texture: Warning! It pills terribly. The texture seems ordinary at first and initially absorbs into the skin, but once it exceeds what your skin can take, it starts to pill like dead skin cells, making it very inconvenient to use. You can't apply it liberally, and for the face, it's better not to use it at all unless it's the only product you're applying. Unless you're extremely skilled at controlling the amount, I absolutely won't repurchase this due to this issue. Packaging: It comes in a pump bottle, which is sturdy but difficult to control the amount dispensed. - sd******Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesInner DrynessEnlarged PoresDead Skin CellsMar 12, 2025
The texture itself isn't bad. It's deeply moisturizing yet absorbs lightly on the skin. It comes out like a paste and seems to have made my face itchy after using it.
