It's in powder form and dissolves well in water, turning into a rich lather, and leaves a refreshing feeling after use.
ConsIt cannot be said that the cleansing power is good with just one use, so it needs to be used about 2 times, and since it is in powder form, it is difficult to adjust the amount.

Cons✅ Recommended use: 1-2 times per week - Rather than daily use, I use it about 1-2 times a week! While I don't use it every day, I keep repurchasing because I miss it when it's not in my routine
Tip1. Recommend using a cleansing brush - Using hands is sufficient, but I found using a cleansing brush allowed for an even gentler application - Highly recommended for those serious about improving skin texture! 2. Use very little water! - When I mixed in too much water, the enzyme granules dissolved completely and the foam density decreased. I found it's best to use just a tiny bit of water

There's a subtle cooling effect when washing, which gives a refreshing finish to the cleanse. I love that feeling! Being a powder formula, you can feel the granules, which are perfect for massaging areas with excess dead skin cells or sebum. Focus on these spots, and it helps clear out small sebum buildup. I pay extra attention to my nose area, and I've noticed my blackheads gradually disappearing (it's not like a pore strip that removes them all at once, but they become less noticeable over time).
ConsThe opening suddenly got larger, making it hard to control how much product comes out. Other than that, I haven't found any downsides with consistent use.
TipIt's great to use in the morning when you don't want to use a foam cleanser. It leaves your skin feeling fresh and clean. I even use it as a second cleanse after my foam cleanser when I've worn full makeup. Maybe it's because of the cooling effect, but it makes my skin feel extra clean and thoroughly cleansed.

You can adjust the powder-to-water ratio to use it as a mask or exfoliator. The green granules in the powder are great for removing dead skin cells, and thanks to the tea tree, it feels incredibly refreshing as soon as you massage it onto your face! It's perfect for cooling down your skin in summer. Plus, you get a generous amount - I'm totally satisfied!
ConsThe only downside is that when you scoop it out with wet hands, water can get into the container and clog the opening due to the cleanser.

Anyone who hasn't tried this is seriously missing out. Let me introduce you to my personal holy grail product. It's packed with tea tree, which is amazing for soothing the skin. The enzyme powder is perfect for daily exfoliation, and it works wonders! After using it, your skin feels as soft as a baby's bottom. The best part? You can snag it at Olive Young for just over $10. It's a 2-in-1 miracle worker - exfoliating and calming the skin simultaneously, without any irritation. Even those with super sensitive skin can use it worry-free! Plus, it's great for blemish-prone skin thanks to the anti-inflammatory properties of tea tree, which can help prevent breakouts. For those with oily skin dealing with a compromised skin barrier, this is a game-changer. When you gently mix it with water, it cleanses thoroughly without stripping the skin or causing any damage. It removes excess oil while still being incredibly gentle. I'm on my 10th bottle - that's how much I love this product. Trust me, you won't regret trying it!
ConsThere's not really anything bad to say, except that the tea tree scent is quite strong. If you're sensitive to fragrances, it might not be for you.
TipOne of the best things about this product is how versatile it is. You can adjust how much you dissolve the enzyme powder based on your skin's needs, allowing for customized care every day.

The cooling effect after rinsing was amazing. It's become a true staple in my routine - I'm already on my nth bottle!
ConsIt's a bit disappointing that if water gets inside the container, the powder clumps and won't come out. Those with extremely dry skin might find it a tad drying. It would be better if it dispensed without clogging.
TipUsing it once or twice a week, lathering up and leaving it on for about 5 minutes before rinsing seems to help with dead skin cell management. It's also great as a second cleanse after using a cleansing milk.

The foam lathers up wonderfully, dissolves easily in water, and doesn't cause any blemishes. Being a powder type, I don't need to exfoliate separately, which is fantastic!
ConsThere weren't any particular downsides. Just make sure to control the amount of water you use. That's the key to getting rich, abundant foam!

Unlike other enzyme powders, it contains tea tree, which gave my face a refreshing and cooling sensation that I really enjoyed.
ConsThe quantity isn't particularly generous. You'll find yourself using it up faster than you might expect.

It was my first time using an enzyme powder, and also my first tea tree product, so I was initially surprised by the intense cooling effect from Hwahae. It was fascinating how the cooling sensation persisted even after rinsing. The cooling effect is quite strong, so it might be irritating for those with blemishes. When I first used it while having some skin issues, my skin became redder and more painful, so I had to soothe it with a cica ampoule. After use, you can really feel your skin becoming squeaky clean. While Inssea claimed it instantly brightens and illuminates the skin, I think that's a bit of an exaggeration. However, I did notice my skin texture seemed a bit clearer.
ConsI would recommend this for both dry and oily skin types, but those with blemishes or super sensitive skin might experience more irritation. If you have dry skin, you might feel some tightness after use, so make sure to follow up with a good skincare routine.
TipUse about a 100 or 500 won coin-sized amount of powder. The consistency changes depending on how much water you mix in. If you want to use it specifically for exfoliating dead skin cells, use just a few drops of water. Adding more water allows you to use it like an enzyme mask. Since I was concerned about dead skin cells, I used it with just a little water and did a gentle massage.
